What was arguably the biggest play in the game was really a late throw across the middle that Noah reached back and snatched out of the air.. Then the TD was high and outside and Brown had to climb the ladder a bit to go get it. Yet people have been downright giddy about how Rush "hit receivers in stride" and all that thinly veiled shots at Dak noise. If Dak makes that same throw to Brown all we would have heard was how if he woulda led him he would have had a chance to run after the catch. In reality throwing it behind was absolute the right ball placement because if he leads him Noah probably gets blown up by the safety and maybe even gets the ball dislodged and Cincy has the ball at our 40 yard line. It's probably a very different ballgame then.

The point of this is that you people talkin bout how well Rush threw the ball must have been getting a beer on the 5-6 near INTs he tossed. And why do I mention near INTs? Because people were beside themselves when Dak had a similar total of near misses in a game last season. And if I'm not mistaken we won that game too. This is not to disparage the game Rush had.. He had a nice game as a backup. He managed the game and didn't LOSE it. And made 5-6 throws when he absolutely had to in order to win it. I call that "Eli Manninging." I hope he does it 4-5 more times..

Ball was thrown through a tight window and in location it had to be in. Brown barely adjusted. On the TD catch, Brown missed timed his jump and thats why it looked weird. Thats an easy catch even my grandmother can make. In the gane against the Bucs, Dak should have had 4 INTs. The biggest difference I see in Rush and Dak is that Rush goes through his progression quickly and actually goes through his reads. Dak rarely gets off his first read and checks down too much. He leaves lots of meat on the field. So, is the problem Moore or Dak?

No I didn’t you did, it’s a poor Dak reply with a back handed praise of Rush to prop Dak. I don’t think and most don’t think Rush is a nfl starter but his performance was better than Daks with the same group that’s what’s disturbing and from a PS reject QB. I give Dak all the kudos for good games but that this conversation is going on shows the short comings of Dak. One would think it was Tad defending his brother. The point of the post is See Dak isn’t bad , and he missed by a mile by the comparison to a PS QB.

Yes Brown stumbled a bit trying to gather himself for the leap.. but the leap was absolutely necessary.. If he doesn't get up the ball hits a cameraman somewhere.




Mind you this was not a bad throw.. It just wasn't the dime people made it out to be. It was 6 inches from being incomplete.

Rush and Dak both are weak links when they're on the field in my opinion.

I believe we have a good enough defense right now, but not good enough to carry a team through the playoffs. We're still a good QB away from being a real contender. The right QB for this team is not currently on the roster.

If the OP is correct and Rush's throws were similarly wayward to that of Dak's then there must be a conspiracy theory amongst the receiving Corp....but then again there's ALWAY's an excuse.
The ball is in Dak's Court, the gauntlet is down and evidence that a below average QB can at least get this offense moving.

When Dak was making 500k a year people complained about his completions lol.

Because he is the starting QB. When you are the backup, you get more slack for mistakes and more praise for good plays. Just the way it is. Do I hold Dak to a higher standard than Rush? Yes, I do. He is taking a large portion of the cap and with that much money he should be making more plays, elevating the players around him, and winning the games. Is he better than Rush? Yes, no doubt. But the fact that we didn't look that much worse on Sunday is not exactly a ringing endorsement for Dak and his massive contract.

No conspiracy dude.. Dak throws the ball harder .. Rush has led the offense to 20 ppg in his two starts.. Dak has had the offense averaging above 30 ppg over the last 15-20 games.. I won't bother to explain the math to you..
