I haven’t seen a Cowboys defense play this well since Doomsday. They’re playing even better than the 90’s defense so far. It’s only been 3 games so the jury is still out, but if they keep this up this team is going a long way.

They need to get better against the run for me to consider them “special”, but they’re certainly a very good NFL defense. This defense with last year’s offense would be the best team in the NFC.

But this defense is nowhere near the early 90s defenses.

That front four was insane tonight. I wouldn’t be surprised if Daniel Jones wasn’t facing a direct pressure 70% of the time. It was a thing of beauty.

I think they started using Wilson to spy Jones in the second half and that really cut down on the scrambles

I am still hoping they will take the ball away more. However, with Dallas not putting up the offensive numbers like last season, teams are not taking as many chances with higher risk plays. So we fans have to prepare for a lower amount of takeaways.

Once we get Dak, Gallup, Shultz and the offensive line fully healthy they’ll be scoring more points. The opposing offense will have to take more chances and then the turnovers will come.

Teams can’t pass on the Cowboys so they have to rely on the run. The Cowboys defense is strong in every area. They’re not the Buddy Ryan Bears, but they’re definitely one of the top defenses in the league. And you need a strong defense to win championships.
