So we are to believe that as soon as a different QB comes in the OL magically “improves” and blocks better, the OC can magically game plan better and call a “much better game” , and the WRs can catch better magically

Magic

Mmmmkkkkkkk LOL

I think the more he plays, the more that narrative changes. He'd absolutely be picked up if the Cowboys tried to waive him now.

I also think the better he plays, the longer they can allow Dak to rehab.
I agree with this sentiment, but I think that once a player has reached certain milestones (time in the league and other factors) they no longer have to clear waivers and are instantly a free agent. Rush MAY possibly fall into this category.

What evidence do you have that Dak is the one changing plays and not sticking with the run?

Other than your troll intuition that has been largely dead wrong on Dak from day #1?
Hey you guys.... @CowboyRoy said Dallas should have given Dowdle some carries in week 18 of last year. Dowdle was on IR the whole year, but @CowboyRoy always wants to say other posters are wrong.

Well here we are again mister always right aka @CowboyRoy READ THIS....

@CowboyRoy aren't you glad you attacked my post the way you did? I'm sure me being dead wrong puts a smile on your face.

Just more evidence the playcalling was different. highest PA pass %--including all games in 2021.

And since you quoted me looking for evidence, I guess it's okay for me to quote you looking for evidence.

What evidence do you have that shows my troll intuition has been largely wrong about Dak from day # 1?

Shut up or put up.

All this just provides more evidence that you do not need to spend $40 million for a QB to win in the NFL. If you use that money to build a solid team from the inside out, an average QB like Rush can manage the games effectively enough to win. This is what I said when Dak was asking for $40 million. The Cowboys should have let him go and found a smart QB for half the money while using the savings on offensive and defensive lines.
It does not prove that.
It proves you can beat bad teams with a back up QB that costs you very little.
This QB and this game plan has a very real ceiling.

Cooper might go 6-3 versus the Giants whereas Dak has went 9-0 over his last 9.

Checking out of runs and passes is common place. QB's do it all the time. Checking out of 12 of the 28 doesnt appear to be a high number. And certainly one game doenst prove anything.

But nice try there buddy. LOL

And oh, I am never right all the time. Just a lot more than you are.

Shut up or put up.

So do you think Dak is a top 10 QB in the NFL? Put up or shut up.

That's nearly half the calls.

I would be interested to see the numbers on pass plays changed to run plays and the percentages in other games.

If he is checking out of run plays with a two deep look in lots of games then maybe there is something to it.

What you're describing are dirty runs.

These are runs that are not big gainers but are necessary to keep defenses honest.

The key is not giving up on run to become predictably one dimensional.
Agreed. You need to.committ to run game. With that said the run has to work at some point, for the opposing team to.committ to stopping the run, which leads to those dirty runs but helps in play action

If run game is not effective at all, and can't run against a normal front then defense just drops into coverage.

SF game was a great example.

Those are numbers we can't know unless someone talks. You have to wonder why they'd even put that out there. My guess is it was because he played well against TB and were tooting his horn.

The Rush game plan makes more sense given the strengths and weaknesses of this team, and should remain the plan with either QB.

Stop trying to Air Raid teams with Dak and play to your strengths - runs, quick passes, and the occasional play action down the field.
How do you like this post way more than one time?

That's because you're so spaced out that you think your opinions are facts. Any sane man would know the difference. You come here to feed your need to feel important and that's why you get into name calling and attacking others post. Your behavior is evidence of a self centered egotistical maniac, because you can't stop yourself.

P.S. most men fill their need to feel important by taking care of their family.

Imo it's not just game plan,

They have too much faith in Daks ability, they WANT him to be that guy can be the OFF COORD on field but he simply isn't cerebral enough to do it.
