Payton or McCarthy

I know there has been much talk about Sean Payton to the Cowboys. I know many people don't see this as much different than McCarthy. I think McCarthy has the team heading in the right direction but the difference I see between them is the SP would improve the offense overall and be better at in game decisions and clock management. Thoughts?

When asked about coaching again, SP said this earlier in the month:

“The most important element is functional ownership, front office…because there’s a handful of teams that aren’t, and those teams, regardless of what takes place, they can win on Sunday but they have trouble winning long term,” Sean Payton said. “The opportunity to win consistently and the willingness to build the correct culture and all those things.”

He's not coming back to work for Jerry.

From the more popular CZ crowd I think this question's answer has been established already.

And that is that McCarthy and Payton are exactly the same because they both only won 1 SB with a HOF QB and their win/loss record are very similar.

Any deviation from this group think will invite criticism.

Payton. He's good on offense and would team up well with Quinn(if we can keep him) on defense.
Quinn is showing what a good coach does and that you dont need 11 all-pro's to be successful.

Truth,,, makes me wonder why some are so gleeful when a Cowboys head coach gets fired since the main problem isn't going anywhere and they never really had a chance,,, unwashed masses.
