Dak will never be as efficient as Rush. And I don’t means stupid stats. I mean Daks idiotic decision making in pressure moments.
And now we see Daks immaturity once again. He is simply not a franchise QB.

Dak's feeling the heat because the team is winning without him, and is not like he's a tier 1/tier 2 QB. In this league, I believe there are 4 different tiers of starting QB

  • Tier 1 - Elite QB (Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady)
  • Tier 2 - Very Good QB (Allen, Wilson before this year, Jackson, Herbert, Burrow)
  • Tier 3 - Good QB. (Dak, Hurts, Cousins, Carr, Jimmy G, Ryan, Goff)
  • Tier 4 - Average QB (Everyone else)

Dak ceiling is tier 2 but that would require an amount of talent around him, and the trade-off is to sacrifice resigning players on the defensive side.

He made clear to support the team and the next QB even though he believed (correctly) he was better.

Dak is crapping on a team win streak and making it about him. Only his stans support this weak selfish ploy

It was still unnecessary no matter how you spin it's. And I’m not arguing the point about Dak. His statement was also unnecessary and as you say making it about him.

It was healing and brought people together. That's useful.
Dak is a clown. He made an all time game ending blunder in the playoffs last year and followed it up with a horrible display of QBing in the opening game this season.

Very impressive that after getting clobbered by Donald and Ramsey, Cooper Rush didn't hesitate in the pocket the few times he threw the football.
Hmmmmm…
So no happy feet and a look of sheer disgust on the sideline that he would be treated so violently by an opposing defense cause it’s not fair cause QBs who get overpaid are somehow special?

Dak has never been a supehero. He got this job because the owner is a moron.
As I’ve said before Dak is Jake Plummer. Who went 50-14 in Denver with Shanahan. But he was never an elite, franchise QB. He was terrible in pressure moments and made stupid mistakes. But because he had Shanahan and his elite run game, it covered up a ton of Plummer’s bad habits and poor play.
Look at the 2020 season before his injury.....Dak had to play superhero that year. Even early last year for the Tampa & NE games Dak was superb, and this team wouldn't have had a chance without him. Dak has had to play superhero for this team in the past, but it creates a recklessness that this team doesn't need in 2022. If Dak comes back he needs to be handing the ball off 30 times a game, and when he does drop back he needs to get the ball out quick. That's the recipe here. It's not that complicated, but not everyone can do it either. 2020 Dak was perfect for that year, but 2020 Dak I fear becomes a liability in 2022.

I hate agreeing with Skip, but he’s not wrong. When dak comes back he needs to play with humility. He needs to lean on the defense and run game as rush has. If dak does that he can be everything cooper rush has been and more. If dak gets back and we sling it 40+ times bad things will happen.

no matter who it is the story of the 2022 Dallas cowboys isnt the QB.
Yeah. If he kills run plays to attempt to get stats on passing and gets greedy then there will be trouble. They will blame Moore.

I think people do not like Dak because it does not seem he can ever rise to Brady, Rothlisburger, Rogers, Marino, Aikman, Farve heights.

it originally looked like he could but after years under Garret, he lost something. I hope he gets it back.

It comes from that fact that deep down Prescott knows he's a fraud. That he's not a real franchise QB.

Few are...so its a waste of time to debate it. The market pays these guys because its a tough position to be good at. It is what it is. Dak has warts...but most do.

HaHa. You’re dreaming. They really needing healing and coming together after winning 8 straight. Sure.

You can believe as you wish though. And again I’m not defending what Dak said. It was uncalled for. Just like Romo’s heartfelt letter.

If he’s a liability now he was a liability then. He wasn’t a superhero. LOL.
In 2020, He just made up backyard ball and ran around a lot. Jake Plummer.
It doesn’t work and more times than not, the team pays for it, which is what you are alluding to..
that he has to play within the offense and get the ball out quick. Something he’s never done.
I can’t decide what will be better. Dak starting in PHiL or not starting. Either way, he loses.

Dak shouldn't be in the NFL, even as a camp arm.

What evidence do you have that our current style of winning games is not sustainable? It's actually the perfect formula with the roster we have regardless of who is quarterbacking.

What would count as "evidence."? Look, you aren't getting defensive and special team points every game and sooner or later you are going to play teams who can put points on the board. A Cooper 22 burger won't cut it then.

Oh for God sakes people get a life. Rush and dak are good friends. Stop creating crap because you are bored.
You said it much nicer than I was going to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took a shot? Let's see, an NFL starting QB coming back from injury is optimistic and positive and looks forward to playing, and this is what y'all get out of it? Hang your heads in shame if you thought/think that this was taking a shot.
