I know there is some sarcasm in this thread but to those of you that are serious...wow. Do you guys not see players trading jerseys after games? It happens every game and even those "rivalry" games. The NFL is different now and no, I don't like today's NFL but what choice do I have?

All I care about is that Micah goes hard every game and conducts himself (integrity) accordingly off the field. I care not for anything else.

2:30 mark of the video. Micah shows his true colors. Talking about his love for Philly, being neutral on the rivalry and then when a reporter says well Philly fans are pretty feisty, Micah says well Cowboys fans are feisty too.

Then later at the 4:40 mark he talks about his good friendship with Eagles OT Lane Johnson.

This is a pretty disgusting interview overall and I know you're feeling the same way about it too.

No team loyalty. Just a rent-a-player.

Damone Clark would never do this.

NFL players have Friends, on every single team. There is absolutely nothing to be seen here

At least he didn't profess his love for Wentz like you did.

Football is an entertainment and not my life. I don’t understand these rivalries and what purpose that they serve. They are paid professionals paid for entertainment
Most people truly don't get this.

Lame excuse. He wasn't raised in Philly. Or in the suburbs.

But Erik Williams was and if one of his teammates would have told him they were pretty neutral on the rivalry he would have extracted teeth.
Don’t have to be from Arlington or Dallas to be a Cowboys fan hometeam wise. If you grow up in east Texas hundreds of miles from Dallas you’re usually still a Cowboys fan.

Not going to fault a guy for not hating the hometeam he grew up supporting.

I don't care about his feelings for Philadelphia. All I care about is him getting after Jalen Hurts and putting a beating on him. Parsons is uber competitive and anyone he is lined up against he is going to wreak havoc on no matter his feelings toward the people of Philadelphia. Guy probably has relatives in Philadelphia and relatives that are Eagles fans. I wouldn't expect him to crap on his family. I do know this. His immediate family members are Cowboys' fans and were before the draft and he stated on more than one occasion that the Cowboys were who he dreamed about playing for. I'm 100% behind Micah. If it weren't for him the Cowboys would not be 4-1 right now.

I have no doubt Parson will have friends in the stands watching and Parsons will be up for this game. He is from Harrisburg PA and this is his 1st game played in his home region as a pro.

This thread is totally unnecessary. Players are paid to be professional athletes and be devoted to the team that hired them. Micah Parsons has lived up to that standard and has played injured despite his having been born and bred in the Pennsylvania area. It's perfectly natural for him to appreciate the place of his birth and, also, his upbringing. It's also natural for him to be quite devoted to the team he plays for. I see it as a non-issue.

Micah better learn what this rivalry means fast. If he don't, he's in for a reality check Sunday when his "friend" smacks him in the mouth and beats him. The Kid better be ready. This aint just another game Micah.
Hasn't he already played them twice?

He needs to learn some lessons from Peters, a Texas boy born into a Cowboys family who had no problem talking smack about Dallas. Of course, he now says it was a compliment.
Plus Harrisburg is Steelers counter
So he’s a sensible person lol. He doesn’t hate anyone. No problem with it. I’m sure if he sees hurts on Sunday within his reach he isn’t gonna just let him go.

He was around there during his life why would he hate the place
Philly and Harrisburg might as well be worlds apart

Micah will follow the $$. The CAP destroyed any notion of team in NFL.
