I thought it was a mistake to win the toss and elect to receive. You gotta know Dak was amped up to begin with and then we go straight to the pass. Not an ideal way to ease an injured qb back IMO. Let the defense start it off and give him a lil time to settle in and then start with the ball in 2nd half.

yeah always defer, especially today

I’m shocked Detroit did nothing to improve the QB room behind Goff . Campbell has no choice but to play him . Rush at 4-1 with solid defense of course gives MM options in case of injury . I thought Andy Dalton was the Cardinals QB the other night the way he was throwing TD’s for them .

Dak is a good bus driver, but Moore loves putting him in the shotgun. Shotgun runs makes Zeke look average. Without a strong rushing attack Dak looks average.

Moore doesn't understand how to use his players. That's why they struggle with efficiency quite often.
The shotgun is a Dak problem. He’s not a proset QB, just like in college. It’s Dak’s limitation, not Moore’s.

Big D---- that was such a no brainer....i think coaches are over amped...always defer....i thought we learned that lesson when reb-ball was coach?????

Like I said before. Dakota gets a mulligan since he’s coming back and should be rusty

He played a very Cooper Rush like game against literally the worst defense in the NFL.

207 yards and 1 Td in garbage time to an uncovered receiver.

we could have gotten that performance from our 979k a year backup.

Dak is 100% medically cleared and practiced the whole week……please let’s stop with the injury excuses that I’m sure we will hear up till and including the playoffs

The Jax Giants game ended with Jax at the Giants one yard line . Can’t wait to stuff that turkey in November . Comes down to Eagles Pokes same as last yr and the trip that place is thankfully over . Like Cowboys chances at home .

we say first 3 games of 2019 and a few in 2020 where Dak was lighting it up....but that was with Cooper...if nothing else Cooper demands double team which lets other receivers go one on one

we had the money....we are over 20 million over the cap or close to it so we could have kept him....if nothing else as a decoy.....and we saw many a time where Cooper took over games

like in 2018 that saved our season.....i dont care what the Jones's disliked about Cooper....just a cursory look showed how he helped our team.....Ceedee is not yet a # 1...neither is Gallup

they both best 1b......Dak also errantly threw into triple coverage today 3 times....Moore must make solid adjustments...if not for our defense we would not have scored 21 in second half

Yep. People think all you need to do is just get a QB with a top 3 pick and you'll have an instant A. Rogers. All they have to do is look at the guy who was playing QB for the Lions today to know that's not how it works.
So we’re comparing Dak to Goff? When did Goff go up against the worst defense in the league? When did Goff have WR group like ceedee, Amari, and cedrick wilson, Gallup, and two running backs. Recall Dak wasn’t great pre-Amari and so far hasn’t looked good without him. Give Goff those weapons and him going up against the worst defense, now that’s a fair comparison. I’m not saying Goff is great by any means, but Dak is down there with him, especially if you put him on the Lions.

I didn't see Dak killing those drives. Our 3rd down play calling was awful. Dak missed Noah on the first play, one in which my stream lagged and I'm not sure how bad it was. Aside from that I didn't notice him being inaccurate often, at all.

Dak forced a couple, probably being impatient when the offense had stalled.

Mostly, I came away from this game thinking it was KMs worst called game of the year.

All this and that about Prescott really boils down to this:

He’s a fourth round pick that was projected to be taken then.

So he was.

I have no SB expectations with him under center. And I can’t see him getting a road win in the playoffs. That is too much to ask of that particular player.

Dak Prescott is one of the better backup quarterbacks in the NFL.

It’s really quite simple.

Let’s get this out of the way first:

1. I’m pro Dak
2. He is better than Rush
3. I’m not suggesting Rush should start over Dak
4. I hope we win a super bowl with Dak.

Having said that it’s time that people started being realistic about our QB situation:

1. Dak starts off horribly slow.
2. Dak killed several drives today that were totally ON DAK.
3. He’s not a top 10 QB.
4. He struggled with the 32nd ranked defense.
5. Something is wrong with Dak in terms of seeing/processing the field.
6. Dak’s accuracy is very suspect. I’d say Dak is in the bottom 1/3 of the league in that category.
7. Dak doesn’t elevate the team. Dak doesn’t elevate the team.
8. The WRs are getting plenty open, Dak just doesn’t see them.
9. If they don’t run Dak 3-4 times per game —Dak is going to have a much harder time winning. He needs that threat to keep defenses more honest.
10. The only way Dak wins a SB is if the team Carrie’s him. He is nothing more than a middling bus driver right now.
11. I would love to see Dak develop and become the next Tom Brady, but I don’t think Dak has the football IQ to get it done.
12. Dak has the physical traits but he doesn’t have the mind to get it done as of right now.
13. I like Dak and I like Zeke as a Cowboys fan, but those two together are a handicap to overcome.
You just made Rockports "hater" list.

CWR---- total agreement....like when it was 3rd and one...either feed Zeke or sneak it...but these long developing plays that NEVER WORK Moore is addicted to them....he must be fired immediately....can we get

a more progressive OC...who knows how to work with what he has....if we are not at level of tons of passing keep running and screens and quick slants behind linebackers...and i am only a dummy
