At one point I saw us do a play action toss to Zeke, ONLY to hand it to Zeke.

So now we are selling the run so we can RUN??

WTH is KM thinking?
Yeah, my personal incredulity rose to a new level on that play. if he'd actually tossed it, maybe Zeke would've had more choices of where to run.

Yeah Burrows looked great against us this year.

Looked pretty good against superior teams on the way to a Super Bowl appearance last year after going 4-11-1 and coming off an ACL tear in 2020 and only his second year. Even beating Mahomes in KC ( though that was a bizarre game).

people crying Moore should game plan as he did for Rush. well, maybe big ego isn't going to take the easy passes and hand the ball off. That is what I learned today, dak will not run the same game plan as Rush did, but let's blame Moore.
He did seem to be out to prove he's a big play guy. Whether he did that out of pride or a perceived necessity, I don't know, but I hope MM reigns that in.

Let’s get this out of the way first:

1. I’m pro Dak
2. He is better than Rush
3. I’m not suggesting Rush should start over Dak
4. I hope we win a super bowl with Dak.

Having said that it’s time that people started being realistic about our QB situation:

1. Dak starts off horribly slow.
2. Dak killed several drives today that were totally ON DAK.
3. He’s not a top 10 QB.
4. He struggled with the 32nd ranked defense.
5. Something is wrong with Dak in terms of seeing/processing the field.
6. Dak’s accuracy is very suspect. I’d say Dak is in the bottom 1/3 of the league in that category.
7. Dak doesn’t elevate the team. Dak doesn’t elevate the team.
8. The WRs are getting plenty open, Dak just doesn’t see them.
9. If they don’t run Dak 3-4 times per game —Dak is going to have a much harder time winning. He needs that threat to keep defenses more honest.
10. The only way Dak wins a SB is if the team Carrie’s him. He is nothing more than a middling bus driver right now.
11. I would love to see Dak develop and become the next Tom Brady, but I don’t think Dak has the football IQ to get it done.
12. Dak has the physical traits but he doesn’t have the mind to get it done as of right now.
13. I like Dak and I like Zeke as a Cowboys fan, but those two together are a handicap to overcome.
You spent far too much time on a speculative assessment. Did you expect Dak to come in lighting things on fire on the very first play? And I think Dak would certainly be questioning IQ too, if he read this. Dak needs contact lens, KMoore missing in this, Dak & Zeke are handicaps, no mention of LVE, SB talk with the same results TRomo gave us......just to punch holes a bit in this.

Dak, Smak... who cares?
He is what he is, just an average NFL QB who was able to make Jerry overpay.
.
I like Noah Brown.
I think he's the best receiver on the cowboys' current roster, despite the unfortunate fumble near the goal line.
I don't blame him at all for that fumble, but I think he's the 3rd best receiver on the team.

He rarely ever has started lighting things on fire on the very first play...or 2nd...or 3rd. It often takes him until almost the second half to get going, in fact. I personally didn't expect any different today.

Do is right at top ten. He’s not the best at reading the field. He isn’t at the bottom either. Dak needs all the pieces around him. I’m ok with that because we got Dak not another.

A majority of my last week's posts involved Dak getting over himself/ego as the biggest obstacle to post season success. He has to force himself to stick with a heavy run based offense and I believe he will end up forcing the issue and again audibling into the wrong reads.
If he plays the overpaid busdriver role and sticks to leaning on the dee, run game and special teams then success is possible.
But can he?
Team over ego. That is the question.

Did you watch game
Dak had 5 incomplete passes and the first should have been caught

This ain’t very “pro Dak” lol. If this is your observation for this year? Fair enough. He’s only played twice so I’d agree with some of the above. But if you are saying his resume isn’t that of a top 10 QB then you must have a bad top 10. There’s Pat Mahomes and Josh Allen. Then there’s the Dak’s, Burrows, Watsons, etc.
Careful now, you didn’t add the mandatory “not a Dak hater l” disclaimer on your post as required by the Church of Dak

Detroit had to self implode for us to score a TD. This BS offense isn't going to be enough against anyone good.

Ive seen a few, but that was a rough catch to maintain, would have gone down in highlight catches if he could have held on.
Im glad Brown walked off after that.
