He was mostly terrible the second half of last year. Certainly against any level of competition. If people were being fair in their defense they would acknowledge that its not a small sample size the critics are rightly pointing to.He was terrible against the 49ers , so that's 3 games.
Patrick Mahomes 160 touchdowns. Prescott 150.

Here is to hoping your correct! You know how our front office has long believed we could win a Super Bowl with Tony or Dak if we just put enough around them?
Well, we're at that point.
yeah that was our coach doing something stupid again.

I thought it was a mistake to win the toss and elect to receive. You gotta know Dak was amped up to begin with and then we go straight to the pass. Not an ideal way to ease an injured qb back IMO. Let the defense start it off and give him a lil time to settle in and then start with the ball in 2nd half.
Fair enoughI’ve said it in other posts and restate it here. Let the season play out. We all watched Cooper Rush play 4 games against both SB teams and an undefeated team. Now we get to watch Dak play with the exact same team: same weapons, same OL, same defense. That is a RARE gift for someone comparing QB play.
At the end of this season, I think the stats will allow people to make objective observations for and/or against Dak. Right now I’m just rooting for Dak and this defense to go supernova and take it all the way.
For the record, yes I was insanely frustrated at the overthrow on the early bootleg, and the unnecessary sack that took us out of fg range that Turpin handed us. I was also pleased at the late game play. Let the sample size grow. Let Cooper be the control in this rare experiment. Enjoy the season, then make conclusions
How do you know it's conservative play calling? I seem to remember Dak lofting a few bad throws toward the beginning of the game. It's getting harder and harder to evaluate Dak with such predictable, conservative play calling for most of the first halves of most games. I can't imagine many QBs looking prolific and efficient with Kellen Moore as OC. The Dallas offensive playbook is putrid in long stretches of many games. We never go downfield early, EVER. So as a DC playing the Cowboys, I would never even play the deep ball in the 1st quarter, thus the safeties can just play near the LOS at the snap, and the CBs can jump all the routes.
I just don't have faith in Kellen Moore, never have, especially in a big night game, when his play calling gets even MORE conservative.
mr Gimmie--- no sir i would not be harsh toward your feelings....but our Plats are up this year overrall....but i can see too many plats lose their gumph ( is there such a word? ).....so you feel D line is not rotating
enough.....i did not pay attention to that detail....but maybe i could get flogged and whipped and scourged and if i am still alive maybe not complete execution????...only a thought
I will have to disagree with “Dak was pretty good today”.Overreaction.
He was pretty good today. He did well with the tools he has to work with.
I expected the offense around him to be a little more potent, but he's just not as good without Cooper AND Lamb. That said, I think this offense is still trending upward.
You really can't glean a whole lot from this game, as far as I'm concerned, other than Dak has a way better arm than Rush and makes pretty good decisions and doesn't turn it over a whole lot.
Kellen wasn’t overthrowing receivers.Last week just win baby this week Dak sux. Y’all good for a laugh anyway
I give Dak a C for today. I give Kellen a D
He has been rusty for about 3 years now.Seems pretty knee jerk for someone coming off a thumb injury, a below average game for our OL, 2 dropped passes and a WR fumble in the endzone.
As expected, he was rusty and got a little better as the game went on.
Moore isn’t helping Zeke AT ALL. He is an idiot in running our running game.Dak is a good bus driver, but Moore loves putting him in the shotgun. Shotgun runs makes Zeke look average. Without a strong rushing attack Dak looks average.
Moore doesn't understand how to use his players. That's why they struggle with efficiency quite often.
Tell me how do you discuss in good faith with these people. Dak wasKellen wasn’t overthrowing receivers.
