Players should not be allowed to play in the league once they get to 27 yrs old.
Think how great the CFL would become.

He’s 6’3” 340. Sounds like a 1-tech. Is anyone familiar with him? Is he any good at stopping the run?

He has been great in the past. Time will tell, but I'm very happy they've made an attempt to improve the middle of the DL

Thats right, taking up space and not giving up ground at the point of contact upon snap.
If he does that, then we have a true 1 tech in house, but if he can also be disruptive, get up field and make some plays then Q and this defense strike gold.

I'm hopeful. The way Quinn uses his linemen, he might have a better chance here of being disruptive than he did with the Raiders. There may be some opportunities to clean up at least.

We've had some good moments from several DTs, but none of them has just been dominant. Of course, I don't expect Hankins to be dominant, either, but if he can just clog up the running lanes, I'll be happy with that.

Agree 100%. We need someone who can help force teams into long 2nd and 3rd downs by limiting running yardage on 1st downs so our speedy guys on defense can pin their ears back.

Im looking forward to how Quinn installs him.

You'd have a point if age was the determining factor in prime years. But it's not. Injury history and tread will make players play older than they are. Hankins is nowhere near what he was with the Giants.

Like I said when we got Barr, don't expect this to be as big of an upgrade as we initially think.
