It appears they weren't using him much in their new scheme. But I don't know if that's because he wasn't playing well or just the way they want to play. Of course, if he was playing great, he'd be out that more regardless of scheme. However, scheme is important and he seems like a player who would be a good fit for what Quinn likes to do on run downs.

Yes and Bashem is due back soon. They still need to make a decision on Clark. But they still need at least one OL, possibly two.
So some moves to be made and a player or two could still be in flux.

Don't agree. Defense is clearly our strength this year. Making it stronger is our best path to playoff success right now.

Gallimore has been a huge disappointment this year. I was expecting him to have a breakout year and solidify the middle of our defense along with Odighizuwa. Hopefully Hankins is the answer on run downs.

We've had some good moments from several DTs, but none of them has just been dominant. Of course, I don't expect Hankins to be dominant, either, but if he can just clog up the running lanes, I'll be happy with that.

That was all he was good for. Stopping the run. Not sure if he can still do that.

ok we could have signed this guy 2 years ago. Only if our FO would acknowledge wehen an issue is an issue and address it at that time instead of being smacked in the face repeatedly for 2 years and then trade an asset for someone they could have gotten 2 years ago

As the 1-tech, he's not going to put up huge tackle numbers. We just need him to stand up the blocker and force the running back to have to go around him, allowing someone else to clean it up.
