Int from game yesterday

Had a few people argue with me that the Int was on Dak. When it was on Lamb. I explained Dak was throwing that ball to a spot where Lamb was supposed to be( a timing route) it was a doggone good throw.
We've seen this from Lamb a couple times this year and also heard Jerry talk about wr needing to be in the right places last season. At the 17:25 mark IS breaks down the Int play

Hendershot ran a shallow cross to pull up the linebackers with Lamb running a cross behind him. Lamb drifted up field instead of crossing in front of the safety.

Strum is wrong here, Lamb ran a trash route. No way do you stop your route or give up on your route at any point in play as a wr. No way, the Qb is expecting you there and the ball is out before you suppose to get there

No doubt our last two #88s make a play on that ball. I’ve seen Lamb do the same as you mentioned on other throws.

Watched Dak's postgame press conference and he took the blame. Said it was a case of him trusting his arm too much and thinking he can get away with passes like that.

This is what happened, Lamb rounded the route off, Dak maybe shouldve have went low inside to keep Lamb alive though.

That was a Madden video game interception. Dak was feeling it and missed the safety in coverage.

I think that he only tries that throw because he had been hot and got greedy.

After that throw he noticeably cooled off and Pollard kinda took over.

As someone who does not have a pro/anti-Dak agenda, I can easily say this was caused by two things ..

1) Lamb altered his route after his cut and if you look, Dak had already released the ball before Lamb altered his route so it was Lamb's fault.
2) It was not a smart throw to make so despite it not being his fault for the interception, Dak should not have made that throw.

Ya, I had to laugh with this one yesterday.
Poor Dakko came out with 40 sec in the half and wanted to do his Mahomes, Allen impersonation.
He fell back to Bus driving reality hard.
If he ever tries that motivation again he will come crashing down as at best he will always be a glorified bus driver!

Agree with the saftey there the only play there is at Lambs body, still would be a very tight window throw.

Most INTs, unless a terrible decision by the QB, are on everyone.

If Gallup was open Dak wouldn’t have thrown it there.

If the Oline had made separation up the middle, Dak may have taken off instead of risking that throw.

If Moore had called a better play, that throw wouldn’t have been necessary.

Dak could have chosen not to throw it, regardless of what CeeDee did. It was a tight window and unnecessary in that game circumstance.

And then CeeDee could have played DB better when he realized he had no shot at it. “My ball or no one’s”

1. Ceedee ran a bit of a lazy route and was a step too late coming out of the break
2. Dak threw it to what he perceived as the right spot assuming a successful route
3. Dak should have checked down to the TE and picked up an easy 7-8 yards

Maybe not at the level you coach. But among professionals you see Wrs adapting routes all the time.
