If the playoffs started today, starting QBs from the teams that would be in the playoffs ,who played in the playoffs and won a game, would be Dak and Jimmy G. So Erod has a point.

Regardless of how long Dak has played this year Hurts, Smith, and Cousins all look better right now. Again, maybe that changes in 2 weeks, maybe not, but right now today those 3 QBs look better than Dak when we're only look at current playoff teams.
Hurts looked fantastic last night.
I suppose not just "looked". Was.

I've got to the point that I don't even really try to argue with anyone that says otherwise.

If they say "Hurts stinks" or "He's not good" then a back and forth with them can't possibly go anywhere.

I get it. We hate the Eagles. But to just brush off what their team and players are doing is just foolish. I guarantee you the Cowboys players and coaches aren't just brushing it off.

Looky what we have here....

In my mind, there are 5 legitimate teams in the NFL right now. Buffalo, KC, Philly, Dallas, and San Fran. The rest are maybe average at best and mostly just gawd awful garbage. This is the weakest NFL I've seen in my lifetime.

As such, an interesting development is occurring. Dak Prescott might be the best QB of the NFC teams that make the playoffs. Seriously.

Unless Rodgers or Brady figure out how to resurrect their catatonic teams, the candidates are Jalen Hurts, Jimmy Garoppolo, Kirk Cousins, Daniel Jones, Geno Smith, Marcus Mariota, Matt Stafford, and Dak Prescott.

Rodgers, Brady, and Stafford seem to be on the outside looking in. All three are running for their lives. So Dak and Cousins might the class of the NFC playoffs.

So attrition aside - and injuries will decide much of this - the Cowboys' ability to run the ball and play defense is quite formidable, along with Dak and his tight-end trio of goodness. Another wide receiver is unnecessary.

San Francisco is the scariest if they get it figured out. Philly is half good and half fraudulent because of a cupcake schedule, and none of the rest concern me in the least. Again, attrition aside.

Let Buffalo and KC laugh at the NFC for now; here's hoping the Cowboys can earn a chance to try them. Not a team in the NFL wants to go against this Dallas front if it's healthy come playoff time.
My main takeaway from this season is that Brady, Rodgers, and Stafford did not suddenly become garbage QBs this season. The constant nit-picking of Dak’s game and arguing that a QB isn’t a franchise QB if he doesn’t elevate everyone around them is also garbage. His detractors love saying that Dak needs a great team around him, we’ll surprise surprise. Football is the ultimate team sport, and Brady, Rodgers, and Stafford are still elite, but it means nothing if you don’t have the blocking and receivers to play with. KC learned this quickly with the greatest QB currently playing, and they’ve been rebuilding that OL, RB room, and receiving corps.

Maybe to your clouded eyes they look better. Analytics disagree with you, as would most rational posters. I have no idea what you’re looking at.

I'm just asking.

That's a fair point if you'll agree this is fair.

Doesn't every team in the playoffs have a winning record?
No, it's not accurate to suggest every team has had a winning record.
Even though it's completely wrong, It's not really a realistic metric anyway. It's a team statistic, first of all.
I could go on but it makes zero sense. At the very least, you should come prepared to compare Prescott among his current peers, but you haven't offered any real reference.
I wouldn't bother digging in.
Wins & loses are a complete team statistic and it's incredible low football IQ to use it for a point. For or against an argument. Just no.

Somebody remind me again what Dak's record is against teams with winning records?

I"ll wait. Thanks.

99% of all QBs (Mahomes,Brady the only 2 exceptions) have a losing record against winning teams. This isn’t a good argument

Dudes...Cowboys are also-rans again this season. Hurts and the magnificent Philthys are way better and will spank the boys out of the
playoffs if indeed they make them. Dak is not a winner, he's a choker.

They won’t because that is their simplest shot to fire at Dak, and if they researched it would blow that argument apart.
I'd understand if it was valid, but it's just a huge stretch. Like most arguments.

Like if you even use a modicum of brain power it should click that “hmmm maybe all QBs lose against winning teams, that’s why they are winning teams” lol. But nah all the other QBs win against playoff teams except Dak
