I got to watch Bland play for Central Catholic HS against my daughter's Boyfriends' team in the HS playoffs. He was a man against boys. He played RB then. My kids boyfriend's team won....lol.

But, the school Bland went to is a 1st class school meaning Bland was mature, respectful and well rounded if he went there. I think that maturity is showing up and is a big part of why he seems to be ready for this opportunity. I wish him the best.

If he sticks around, I might actually have to pull a few strings to get me an autograph on a jersey from him.

Blands looks like he's going to be a player.

As an aside, the two roughing the passer plays were not the same. Gholston puts his body weight on Fields, which draws the flag. In the other play, the defender (can't remember his name) hits high but peels off of Fields. He doesn't linger.

If nothing else, he makes them comfortable in letting Anthony Brown walk and not be compelled to have to draft a corner in the 1st 2 rounds!

Terrible roughing call by the ref on the int. Bland looks good.
I don't see how that's "exactly the same" as the hit on Fields by Osa. Osa shoved him with his hands only. That roughing the passer call, while it may or may not have been legit, was much more aggressive.
