Lol I wouldn't go much over 5 for 1 year. Give me a break. He must be considering his brief time with the Rams as a prove it year. Sorry man, it doesn't work that way unless you actually play all year and don't end up with a massive injury.

exactly. I love the reactions from people here….this changes nothing lol. He can ask for whatever but it’s gonna come down to what he can actually get.

This, you ask for more because what you get will be actually higher than what you were really wanting. Like when you would put on an application for a job, they would get back with you and say this job starts out at. You are like h—- yes, what I was really shooting for.

Beckham wants to play for a contender, and league sources are predicting that his eventual compensation package could be similar on a prorated basis to some of the free agent deals signed last offseason by fellow wide receivers such as Chris Godwin and Mike Williams, each of whom makes an average of $20 million per year.

NFL evaluators believe Beckham's talents are at least on level with players like Godwin and Williams, not to mention his marketability, which could only help his leverage. If Beckham were to play the final quarter of the season at similar prorated pay to Godwin or Williams, he could make about $5 million for the remainder of this season.

—————————

So he isn’t looking for $20 mil this year, people.

He wants the equivalent of that prorated for how much he’ll actually play, which would be about $5 mil.

20 million is a bit much for a player that may not get that many targets. I doubt he would be the no 1 receiver I would just make sense to have kept A Cooper.

LOL lets not make this out to be the Lebron James “Decision”. You’re 30 years old, coming off an ACL tear, and had a few good games last year for the first time in a while.

Dallas pathetically courting him this week plays right into him and his agent’s hands, trying to drum up his value. Jerry saying it reminds him of the Deion Sanders signing is ridiculous. OBJ is a name more than anything at this point.
