Sounds like excuses to me. A good QB knows where his receivers are at all times. I understand the occasional mistake but this has happened for what, the 3rd game in a row? It’s a trend and regardless of he said she said, Dak needs to be aware of where Ceedee is lined up and running. Them “not being on the same page” is a bunch of B.S. it’s Dak’s responsibility to get Ceedee the ball no matter what.

....and it would up to a #1WR to be running the correct routes, especially a veteran WR, and the declared one, too. Hmmm!

Is worth a listen at his press conference today for anyone interested in those plays.

he said on the one He saw the play the way dak did and broke down a bit what Ceedee did wrong.

but the funny thing was when the next reporter asks something on the int in the end zone and why those dudes were on top of each other with that little field to work with “GREAT QUESTION!”

lol you could tell he was kellen what are doing?

Dak or Mike or Kellen should've gotten in Lamb's face if true.

This has happened in back to back games.

That's unacceptable.
Maybe they did....he ended up destroying the rest of the game.

Ceedee needs to bottle that anger up and play like that all the time. This is the 2nd time he has done this...i think earlier in the year vs Giants was the other time.

Not the wrong route.. just the right route run incorrectly. He has allowed his instinct to run towards what he perceives to be open space to cause him to fail to honor a fundamental rule when running over the middle routes.. which is that you CANNOT let the safety beat you to the spot. You have to cross his face because the QB is counting you to get there before the DB does and will throw it to a spot rather than to a body. If you don't go to the spot but the DB does, instant INT. CeeDee is not the first receiver to do this.. But if he's going to continue to he our go to receiver he has to get that fixed. He's got to be willing to go up and take the hit to make the catch (or draw the PI) by forcing the DB to have to go through him to make a play on the ball.
Again, I'm not a Dak Hater or Fanboy but I find it funny that some say he can't throw with anticipation. Then when he does and someone isn't where they are supposed to be (cough* Ceedee cough) it causes issues and double clutches when he throws.

We put the #88 on a guy who can't run routes? For shame.

Yep. If I’m Dak I’m scared to death to throw the ball ahead of their break because who knows what route they’re going to run.

He did later in the game and took a hit but made the catch.

Someone definitely said something to him to light the fire.
that's what a #1 WR is supposed to do. make the tough plays. he didn't. and his hands are too iffy for a #1.

he is a #2 at best. so right now we have two #2s and a #4 WR as our top 3 WRs. furthermore we have a bunch of average TEs. all about the same.

and the defense that was saving the day, has been exposed. suspect to run and teams will keep running until we learn to stop it. two straight games of 200+ yards rushing.

plus our tendency to give up the big plays. 3 yesterday. bunch against Chicago. Bunch against the Eagles.

this defense is not elite.

They ran exact same play for a TD, in one of the previous 2 games, commenter broke down what TE did correctly on that play, Olsen broke down what the TE did wrong yesterday. It’s really should not be that hard when you have someone who played break it down for you when it happened!

CeeDee is getting the Cooper treatment.

He is Dak's scapegoat now.

No second contract for CeeDee. His agent must tell him ASAP not to say anything publicly that might imply or even slightly hint at SleepNumber being at fault.
That's a no-no and grounds for release.

Wait, are you saying one of those two picks was the fault of the OC, and one of the WR's?

How can this be? The panel of experts here on, "I Hate All Things Cowboys," has determined this is all Dak's fault. Something is not adding up. The head coach of a professional football team has a differing opinion from the fans who watch the games on TV.

Who to believe?
Watch the end zone pick. Schultz was bumped off his route and didn't lead the safety far enough ahead, but Dak had a very good view of it and threw the ball anyway. Meanwhile, Pollard was running to the right corner of the end zone, with enough room to pass it to him.

What do they know? We have REAL football geniuses on this board saying otherwise…what I find so hilarious is that very few (if any) people on here are giving Dak the free passes that the anti-Dak Crew accuse us of doing. I think most logical folks on here have long admitted that Dak is nowhere near elite and he’s more of a 2nd-3rd Tier Level guy. He needs help and can’t carry the team. That’s why I’ll NEVER understand why they threw the ball so much yesterday.
