I thought wins/losses were a team stat?

Well, since you want to go that route: Dak is 1-3 in the playoffs in 7 years...since 2020 Dak is 15-10 (a .600 win % which is 2-1/2 games above .500)....since 2017 Dak is 42-31 (. .575 win % which is 5-1/2 games above .500)
Now do "Dak's record" when we have less than 100 yards rushing.

The problem with nit-picking what guys like Jimmy and Shannon Sharpe are saying, is they have said things like Dak is a one-read QB that needs a lot of talent around him to succeed…

I dont know if you are ready to go that far (Ive been said the same), but it sounds hypocritical to say “see look what Jimmy said!”, but not even comment when he says dak is a one-read qb
I commented on all of those threads as well. Dak needs talent around him of course. Most QBs in the league do. Look at how well Hurts is playing now with the addition of AJ Brown. Look at Rodgers without Adams. He hasnt had a 300 yard game this season. And no I am not comparing Rodgers and Dak. Obviously lol. I am just saying I hate that argument that "he needs a lot of help." Look at Allen's stats before Diggs went to Buffalo. Every single NFL QB needs help. How much help is whats in question.

So what is it about then? Please elaborate.
I don't know you tell me....

Prescott has bad stats....average

Prescott has great stats ....padding stats

Prescott wins regular season games....win in playoffs

Prescott wins in Play-offs..... :lmao2:

Goalpost Moving Experts.....

Maybe if the Dak Haters hadn't listed Wentz as their gold standard, Andy Dalton as the same and Cooper Rush's as a backup phenom I'd take their Eye Test seriously :lmao2:

Playing in the worst division in the NFL Dak was able to pad his stats and wins. Even then he choked against the good teams.
It's like having him at the fair on the kiddie rides. He smiles and waves and takes good pictures.
But he's not able to ride the big kids rides. He crashes.
The Eagles are 59-46-1 since Dak's rookie year. They won the Super Bowl in 2017.

They're 3-7 against the Cowboys when Dak starts.

COPE.

Neither is Dak love.
Wins and losses- that's the bottom line, right?
Look at my time posts...

I stated that IF Prescott teams doesn't get us to NFCC within next 4 seasons after contract then it's a failure.

I don't entertain Dak Hate imbecility

100 percent. He went for the big play. He could have checked down. Problem is that with timing based routes your read is predetermined. Aikman used to throw to Irvin not even knowing where he was when the ball left his hand knowing the playmaker would be there. He also had Harper open or Emmitt open in the flat. However. That was the read. I am not saying Dak made the right or wrong decision because I dont know what play was called. Thats all brother.
The big play would've been to the wide-open receiver down the sideline.

17:30 of the Kurt Warner video shows that the WR down the side was wide open, but Dak was staring CeeDee down and missed it.

The check downs were there yes, and Dak went for the big play to CeeDee, but Dak completely missed the biggest play he could've made to the wide open WR down the sideline because he was locked on to CeeDee.

Check it out on the Warner video, fast forward to 17:30, and look at how big of a miss it was.

Over Parsons? I dont know. Fields was the only guy we were in range for and I wouldnt take him over a generational guy like Parsons.

Ive watched it. I am just saying that if the read was CD Dak has to make it. You cant get mad at him for checking out of plays and then also get mad at him for doing what he is told lol. Come on my friend.

And considering our defense has been mostly mediocre during those timeframes (and AWFUL in the playoffs), you're describing a pretty good NFL starting QB.

Glad you learned something today!

Here are the Dallas defense rank in terms of scoring allowed and yards allowed since 2016 (Dak's rookie season):

2016: scoring 5th yards 14th
2017: scoring 13th yards 8th
2018: scoring 6th yards 7th
2019: scoring 11th yards 9th
2020: scoring 28th yards 23rd
2021: scoring 7th yards 19th
2022: scoring 5th yards 12th

So, not factoring in the 2022 season, the Dallas defense in 6 seasons had 3 Top 10 rankings, 2 Top 15 rankings, and 1 debacle 2020 season in terms of scoring and they had 3 Top 10 rankings, 1 Top 15 ranking, 1 Top 20 ranking, and 1 debacle 2020 season in terms of yards allowed.

So to blame the defense to try and 'cover' for Dak is simply false.

Interesting the examples you used in comparing to Dak and I now see your 'angle' as it relates to supposed Dak hate....all too typical these days.

I'm mad at him for making a boneheaded decision because he can't see the field. As Cowboys fan should be.

He missed a possible TD down the sidelines because he can't take his eyes of CeeDee.

Dak doesn't HAVE to throw it to CeeDee there. Dak's job is to move the ball down the field. If he's being told that you have to throw it to CeeDee and can't even look anywhere else (doubt it) then we have bigger issues here.

Never have so many, tried for so long, to excuse one man’s mistakes……

How is Hall of Famers and former players and coaches telling the truth considered making excuses??? You're just angry that qualified professionals crush your agenda for a man's hate.

Funny how the homers are solely gravitating towards the second INT and not even mentioning the first one which was Dak’s fault.

That one was even more of a backbreaker because we were in FG range
The 1st one was found to be Shultz running a bad route. Makes no difference but this is getting like the Zeke bash after a TPollard fumble....2 years ago.

Fast forward to 17:30 of the Kurt Warner breakdown and then come back and tell me Dak made the right decision to throw that pass to CeeDee and you're perfectly okay with his decision there.

You mean like an owner forcing a coach to feature Zeke over a better RB in Pollard? LOL. The problem is there already my friend

Do you agree with that???

Jimmy Johnson also wasted a Supplemental pick on Steve Walsh when we had Troy.......

What's your point again?

Yall have to stop excusing the QB from making the throw anyways…

WRs get bumped off their routes all the time and if you look at the tape, Dak didnt even throw it once Schultz got thrown off
