I apologize for talking outside this thread topic but.

Where the heck is James Washington? He broke a bone in his foot 3 and a half months ago.

Has anyone heard anything I missed?
He said himself last week he could play now. It’s clearly an Odell thing. If he signs it may be the end of or continuation on IR for Washington.

If not you’ll see him activated immediately.

From August. He turned down 9 offers lol. Still not on a team.

In all fairness, he's probably made plenty of money and in order to subject yourself to playing in the NFL and specifically the o-line, it needs to be worth it financially

He bases PT largely on what he's paying guys.

Smith makes a lot, ergo, he's gotta play.
This. Jerry hates paying people to not work. He has hung on to countless medocre coaches for that reason. Players too.

It’s not a conspiracy. It’s just stupid to have your owner/GM and whatever else he is talking publicly about stuff like that. If we ever get back to playoff glory, it will be in spite of this guy’s monumental insecurity to be seen as a football guru.

I can’t think of a single NFL franchise who has an owner with this level of need to constantly talk, talk , talk about what his team will do. It’s insane.
Don't deny it. You'll miss his energy when he's gone.

He literally got a one year deal at like 800k. Strangest contract for a younger vet I’ve ever seen.

this was posted nearly a week ago. Going on 4 months for an injury that 99% of other players return in 2.

$800k for a couple OTAs and 1 week’s worth of training camp isn’t a bad gig.

I would love for him to be Tyron. But I just don’t see it. Are they willing to mess up the cohesion on the line in the middle of a playoff run? If he’s healthy Tyron than you do it as he and Tyler would be formidable together. But only if that’s the case.
It’s a dream I know but Tyler/Tyron left side to go along with Martin/ Steele right side is scary!!!!:omg:

To schmooze things over Jerry and Stephen will have to take McCarthy to Starbucks for a pup cup.

Smith comes back to his LT spot and I can just see the following taking place:

Cowboys against the 49er’s in the divisional round…Dallas is driving for a game winning drive…third and three…Pollard runs for a first down at the niners 35…flag is thrown……

“Holding. Offense. Number 77. 10 yard penalty. Repeat third down”.

Dak drops back to pass…

Sacked.
