I wonder if he told the coaches or let them learn it from the radio?
Sorry, I don’t understand what you mean here.why not ? Was Tyron Smith gonna be a secret weapon come playoff time ?
First jump offsides or holding penalty will be a sign. #77 wasn't playing "all pro" before this last injury but jerry's ego and wallet come before the team. IF the Gboy's RT comes around the end and drops Dak early, I hope Big Mike has the presence of mind to make the switch back.
My pups love those...To schmooze things over Jerry and Stephen will have to take McCarthy to Starbucks for a pup cup.
And Smith comes back to his LT spot and I can just see the following taking place:
Cowboys against the 49er’s in the divisional round…Dallas is driving for a game winning drive…third and three…Pollard runs for a first down at the niners 35…flag is thrown……
“Holding. Number 77. 10 yard penalty. Repeat third down”.
Dak drops back to pass…
Sacked.
Tyron Smith has missed 42 games since 2015. It makes zero sense to me why we are counting on this guy’s return. Especially when the first round pick we drafted is developing into a very good LT. Again, all this makes zero sense. Unless you are a Jones, lol.Been seeing this for awhile but if I said it I'll get bashed!!! Time to let him go
Honestly, I don't want Jerry to stop. He keeps us informed while he keeps our opponents guessing.
Best thing to do with Tyron is keep him as a backup the rest of the season while sparingly substituting him to see how his body holds up. If he starts to struggle or his body breaks down again during limited play, well, we will have our answer what to do with him after this season. Everyone knows Tyron is one of the best at Left Tackle when healthy, but we also know his body no longer holds up for a whole season. Time to make him a backup, play him sparingly and re-evaluate his remaining contract after this season.
“If healthy” is the operative phrase. He’s missed 42 games. There’s no longer an “if”. He isn’t healthy. How much more evidence is needed? You guys are funny. Tyron is still our best lt.
Tyler can be a good lt or he can be a HOF guard, imo.
If healthy this is and always was the best 5. Smith Smith Bia Martin Steele.
That's why he keeps the syllables to a minimum.Dude, I can read what you say about me.
I just don’t see it either. He’s coming off a torn off the bone hammy and it’s going to be healed that quickly? When James Wash can’t even heal from a broken bone in his foot? Smh[/QUOTE

Who are you to question Dr Jones?I just don’t see it either. He’s coming off a torn off the bone hammy and it’s going to be healed that quickly? When James Wash can’t even heal from a broken bone in his foot? Smh
Let Tyron prove it every week in practice. Why change what isn't broken with our current starting 5 Olinemen?if his body can't hold up for a whole season and we should play him sparingly, why wouldn't we do it now in the stretch run of this season? what's the points of coddling him to evaluate him for next season when we don't expect him to be able to play a whole season? that's madness. let him play this year, if he holds up we're all the better for it. if he breaks down we're in position to offset it.

You know it!I want the best 5
if that’s Tyron, Tyler, or Peters, I don’t care
it’s a good problem to have
But I'm not convinced it's Tyron at this point .....
I was watching a breakdown of the offensive line last night. Gotta say Sunday was the closest thing to 2016 I can remember. These guys were working together beautifully. Really makes me nervous to just insert a guy back in .... regardless his career stature.
