Vet MIGHT qualify. But I'd rather put him in the same camp as you have been...at times. It's just Dak instead of zeke.


Dak has played quite well the last couple games. Vet usually replies "negatively" when people try to make it way more than what it was. He has offered real stats in that regard. They certainly aren't super human. And that's okay with me. He doesn;t need to be and we might not want to pretend he is...very much like...zeke.

I have many a time complimented zeke I just don’t believe he is as good as you and Ronnie do. That’s ok

Never or rarely comments on anything unless he’s in the Dak threads and it’s anti Dak even if he sometimes supports it with stats

But explain to me how a fan can cheer for the downfall of their own players on the team they claim to root for.... but come across as being disappointed by downplaying a victory or hide like cowards when players on their favorite team plays well and contribute to wins???

You make a valid point, and certainly the other team is getting paid to play football too.

But

Our east-west reverse game is horrid, the mental mistakes, and the pre snap penalties are not on the D. I think in some games, the other team has prepared better for us than we have for them— hence looking confused and sloppy.

Oh I have long maintained that Moore's biggest weakness (and that's saying a lot) is his inability or unwillingness (I honestly don't know which) to simply attack known weaknesses on the opposing defense. Every single game we play they spend 100 hours watching film and seeing which of their players suck and which ones just can't handle our guy across from him. Yet it's a rare game that we just come out exploiting that matchup from the jump. It's like Moore likes to keep that stuff in his back pocket or something. Putting Lamb in the slot should be part of our opening scripted plays every week. There isn't a slot corner in the league who can cover him and it removes the ability of the corners to get physical with him off the line. There are DT/DE tandems who have zero chance against Zack and Steele.. There are linebackers who couldn't cover a tight end or Pollard if their lives depended on it. None of this is top secret double naught spy stuff. Everybody knows this crap .. Yet we are seemingly the only team in the league who fails to act on it as a matter of course.

I think he needs to continue to use his legs more. He keeps a couple of those read option plays it’s going to be impossible to stop.

Agreed. He is very good, especially throwing to hid TEs while moving. And he is worse throwing that pass where he throws to a receiver near the sidelines and hopes the receiver manufactures a good run. Every team is throwing this pass more and more, but we/Dak sucks at it.

People want to say that the Giants secondary was banged up et al. While that certainly rings true, it’s not the first game in the Cowboys’ history where that was the case. Difference is is that yesterday they actually were able to take advantage of the handicap.

I know you guys don’t want to hear this but Dak had some balls that were high. The WRs were a big part of that success today and yes, Dak was very good in the second half and looks a lot better compared to the first part of the year.

I think the critics of him in the SF game and then Bucs game to start the season were off. “Can’t win against good teams”

I think the Bucs was a lack of preseason practice. I think the SF game was that he knew cee dee was a poor route runner (he rarely targeted one on one matchups) and didn’t want to lose the game on turn overs early. Dak does not like poor route runners. CeeDee has improved late this year, but last year, he was a bit of a liability. Plus, Dak and Zeke were banged up late last year.

Back to the Vikes. So he he plays a highly successful team in the Vikings and carves them up. He follows up with a very good game against a 7 win NYG team. He is beating good teams.

QB1 has been great.

I have been saying lights out (not really) about Dak for 7 years.
Dak will be Dak. He will thrill you then meet a team such as the 49ers.
Herky-jerkey seasons for 7 years.
Yet we all talk about Dak as if he's a savior.

Dak, do three things

1. Quit your 2-INTs days
2. Study the 49ers and Vikings and Eagles well for the playoffs
3. Win your 2nd career playoff game.
