No overreaction.
Jerry's $40 mil wunderkind is overrated. The team cannot rally around someone such as Dak.
Dak and the D kept on beating bad teams and had a hard time doing it.
The first credible team he meets in a long time he throws 2 INTs, one pick-6 and ... Gets tha lost look with mouth open when he knows he and team are falling short.

I went all give Dak this:
Dak tried his best to overcome the LOUSIEST DEFENSE IN THE NFL on Sunday.
And 23-30 passing and 256 yards are not bad.

But Dak is snakebit.
He will never arise and conquer even a Middlin team in the playoffs.

The Organization is snake bitten. Dak only been here for 6 of the 27 years of BS....

I understand this is what football fans do, but jeez there is zero perspective in every single one of these threads.

Brown drops the ball and costs us the game...cut Dak, Dak's not the guy, etc...Then it's cut Brown he's not the guy either. Fire Will McClay, This is Mike McCarthy's fault, Kellen Moore, blah blah blah. Many Cowboys fans out here acting like children after a loss. Keep in mind that the Chiefs went to overtime with the Texans today and the overreacting has a lot to do with us struggling against them last week too.

What it really comes down to right now is we have to be able to run the ball and get stops on defense. Today we were running the ball pretty well, but the defense played their worst game. I agree that Kelvin Joseph isn't it. But at the end of the day unless Trayvon Mullen is better then we don't really have a choice. It's not ideal when you lose two starting DB's. Then Vander Esch/Hankins being out really hurt our ability to stop the run. We weren't consistently getting pressure, but also Trevor Lawrence was slippery and hard to bring down and kept extending plays with his legs.

Now on the flip side, we haven't been THAT bad against the run every game. Hopefully we will get Hankins back at some point and Vander Esch as well. We have to do better there, but if we do the biggest concern will be the secondary. Hopefully Mullen comes in and has a shot at starting at some point.
The defensive injuries are taking their toll.

The Cowboys will never be successful in the postseason. They make far too many bad contract deals. They have no depth mostly because they can’t afford it. Dak, Amari, Zeke, contracts will handicapped this team for a while. As inconsistent has Dak has been, can anyone really see him winning a Super Bowl? I can’t. He’s a good quarterback that sometimes flashes moments of brilliance. But he’s beginning to remind me a lot of Romo.

The G.M and the whole coaching staff should be fired, they don't hold their players accountable for the mistakes, at least 2 games this season they should have won. This team will be one and done in the playoffs, then will see if this coaching staff gets fire or not. Us fans are tired of this b.s. for last 27 years!!

The personal attacks and putting words in my mouth aren't making any point. There is no one person to blame on this loss. If you read that whole paragraph it's me reiterating the threads being posted by fans. I am not actually saying that Noah Brown cost us the game. However, is he responsible for not catching that ball? Of course he is, Dak bares some responsibility for it as well, but Brown bares the most for that play. But that has nothing to do with any of this.
Screw your sensitive bs. You literally said Noah brown cost us the game.

Then when I challenged you you claim you didn't say it.

You...are a liar.

Because they would rather cry, piss and moan about things they can’t control. Cry about the QB, the owner, the coaches and about how bad the team is. It”s embarrassing.

We're 10-4 and have a squad that can compete. Tyron Smith at RT will be huge. Hilton coming in as another target should open the passing game up a bit, which will only benefit the run game. Need to figure out CB2, MLB, and NT immediately. Q has his work cut out for him, but let's not pretend that defense doesn't have some serious talent.

People are going to vent, and that's fine. We're SB favorites one week and donkeys the next. That's the nature of the NFL. Alot can happen in the next month. Every year we see favorites fall flat and dogs rise to the occasion at just the right time. Anything can happen, and I'm far from ready to give up on this team now. Just get in the tournament and give it hell. It's going to be a ride, but this is far from over.

It’s the sum of all parts that’s the problem. But Dak’s inconsistent play, subpar coaching and defensive injuries are glaring issues right now.
Dak is who he is, none of us can change it. And he's here on a non tradeable contract, so since that's the case, we might as well move on from yapping about him. We could've moved Romo and didn't, but we can't move Dak based on his contract so it's a non issue, unless we as adults can't help but cry about everything when we're once again in the play offs. All I can do personally is root for my team. That's all I've got.
