If Dak is still our QB and the defense is this soft it doesn't matter, but I can't stand Big Mike so yeah sure. There's no scenario where we reach the Superbowl this year so I'd rather be one and out then drug along for another game.

The saints own his rights till 2024 and why would they give them away cheap? Why would you want to give a premium pick to get him?
After next year when the saints see they may get nothing then he will get much more reasonable
There is no reason why the saints would let him get paid twice lol
PS the saints are playing about as good without him as with him. Brees is gone and Payton bailed on them because he knew without a QB he’d struggle

I wouldn’t simply because it’s an incomplete question. The rest of the question needs to be whether Moore will be retained. That was the issue with McCarthy’s hire. There wasn’t a real change offensively because Moore was retained to keep offensive familiarity and comfortability. I want to see a totally fresh approach.

Yes, please - anything for Payton. But he aint coming here and dealing with Jerry's circus, he's not stupid or crazy, lol. He'll wind up with the Chargers where they have that QB they have, that he will be looking for. Cowboys blew it with him when they had him here under Parcells. They let him leave to go coach the saints and then Parcels retired shortly after anyway. That was their chance to have him as HC of the Boys, they missed it.
