Would you choose One and done to get Sean Peyton?

The ridiculousness of this to say Sean Peyton isn’t a better coach. First off yeah he has one ring…. But he very well was going to another SB if not for the worst non call in nfl history.

he’s a offensive and qb guru. He’s a respected leader.

The fact some are willing to dismiss all this is crasy to me. Sean Peyton wouldn’t instantly be our best HC since parcels left. In the nfl coaching matters more than any other sport

Peyton is going to coach a real QB in Herbert..
Prescott would be excellent under him, but I don’t like him as a head coach. There’s nothing wrong with Prescott other than the changing him I liked when he held onto the football instead of throwing interceptions. Now he’s releasing it like they told him to and I’m getting too many deflections they’re not all on him.

Sean Payton wouldn't be the difference the Cowboys need.
One and done sounds great if the Cowboys would get a real quarterback for the future.

We have a real quarterback, but yes, we need to look for another one for the future

I don't want to beat up on Dak, but he isn't a quarterback who should be starting in the NFL. He would already be out of football if he played anywhere else.
The Cowboys need a quarterback who understands what he's supposed to be accomplishing when he's in the game. He should be the leader even when the run game is carrying the offense.
The Cowboys make Dak look great at times, but it's never Dak who makes the Cowboys look great.
That's a real problem.

Should not be starting in the NFL, that’s just ridiculous. It’s the defense that sucks.

Most definitely yes BUT...
Keeping the 1st rd draft pick.

They can have the 2nd or more AND/OR a player.

Do you really think Dak would be successful with a team like Cleveland? He'd be gone by now.
I like Dak, but he just doesn't have the ability to lead. He makes good plays when the Cowboys are beating up on teams, but if it weren't for the defense and the run game he would have already have lost a couple of more games.
The Giants and the Lions would have beat the Cowboys if the defense hadn't saved them.
The Texans would have beat the Cowboys if Lovie Smith hadn't thrown the game.
That's the facts.

They are not going to fire McCarthy.

Jerry likes to give HCs time. He has often said he was too quick to fire Chan Gailey and still regrets it.

Stephen hates to pay coaches to leave. They still owe McCarthy 2 years of pay after 2022.

I'm pretty sure BigMac isn't going anywhere after this season. If he flops next season, then I could see them firing him. But no way would I be giving up picks to get Peyton a year early.

Why Sean Payton?
I don't understand.
What has he done better than the coach you and others like to slur with fat remarks?

SEAN PEYTON? YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially if he wants a new QB because Dak is a bum.
WHO DAT?!
Jerry's still the owner bud. Dak goes nowhere no matter the coach.
You may hate that, we may hate that, they may hate that, but it's the truth.
I'm middle of the road.

He certainly wouldn't want Dak to go. The guy isn't stupid.
