Jerry: Confident in McCarthy, coaching staff is outstanding

Not to mention, 2 years left on his contract. Fire him now means paying him and maybe several assistant coaches.
Money will not be an issue, it does not count on the cap but bottom line is winning. Mike has been here 3 years and has made post season 2

Imagine having a GM that works hard instead of talking all the time. Imagine having a GM that is 45 instead of 80. Imagine having a GM that is accountable for results.

Imagine having an owner who understands that the winning owners of the last 27 Super Bowls all hired someone else to be their GM. Imagine having an owner who wants to win bad enough they are willing to do WHATEVER it takes including removing themselves from being the centerpiece of the franchise In order to win a SB.

Imagine…
He is the new Al Davis!

Booger does not like paying coaches to leave. He needs to have some family within the circle to push him like the son did to get Phillips fired. And that was a process, didn’t happen quickly.

He has a lot more positive to push with McC than he did Garrett and he waiting for his contract to run out.

The key to this is does McC make him comfortable? Yes, snug as a bug in a rug. He’d be spooning with McC if they had another slumber party.

We should know that based on the 1st meeting. Brady did not play outstanding he was sacked twice and threw an int. Dallas however did little to slow down Fournette who put 127 on the Cowboys. It is the Tampa Bay team that we are playing.

who does like firing coaches under contract? I don't think you could find out of 32 teams any GM who like paying coaches to leave? Jerry has done it he did with Wade and he did With Gailey

Jerry is the most insecure billionaire I’ve ever seen. For some deep psychological reason, JJ cannot co-exist with a strong HC who is a leader of men and in complete control of the locker room. He has stated publicly that “comfort” and “fit” are the paramount things he looks for in a HC. Not coaching talent or ability to lead.

Some psychologist somewhere could probably have a field day diagnosing why this guy cannot admit a mistake or allow himself to have his comfort challenged by the very person that could give his franchise the pinnacle of success. It’s really pathetic.
