It’s obvious that many Cowboy fans aren’t aligned with the priorities of our ownership.

Jerry is the most insecure billionaire I’ve ever seen. For some deep psychological reason, JJ cannot co-exist with a strong HC who is a leader of men and in complete control of the locker room. He has stated publicly that “comfort” and “fit” are the paramount things he looks for in a HC. Not coaching talent or ability to lead.

Some psychologist somewhere could probably have a field day diagnosing why this guy cannot admit a mistake or allow himself to have his comfort challenged by the very person that could give his franchise the pinnacle of success. It’s really pathetic.
Amazing , just a few weeks ago the vibe was much more positive about this ownership , coaching staff, etc. what happened? Lol

He wants to be the Alpha, but he knows everyone knows he is not the Alpha. But he has the power to keep himself as the Alpha as he looks into the mirror.

We fans just want to win a SB, he wants to win at everything else that comes along with it, he forgets the main goal to achieve that.

Well, that is my psychoanalysis for the day. Unless needed again. :muttley:

I have listed to a lot of owners and GM over the years who have praised the coaching staff and fired them after the season ended. No owner or GM will say they have no faith in their coaches until they fire them. I for one do not think McCarthy will be fired and do not think he is on the hot seat. Next season maybe so but not after having back to back winning season which this team has failed to do since in the 90's
Whoa there who said you could be rational on here??

Being in business all of my life and once I get past the despise I have of our owner and what he’s done to our football franchise , I actually admire how he stands in the fire of the kitchen taking on all of the vicious criticism .

And he continues on his path relentlessly unlike I’ve seen in my lifetime all to the disgust of Cowboy fans and critics . It’s quite remarkable.

And we continue feeding in record fashion. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen for patrons who are so disgusted and disappointed with the product produced . But yet we expect change while unwilling to force it.

Payton/Fangio are available NOW.

THIS YEAR.

If McCarthy loses this playoff game, I think Jerry HAS to look into it.

The Denver Broncos appear to be going after Sean Payton as their next head coach, but since he’s still under contract with the New Orleans Saints, it’s a tricky situation.

If the Broncos are going to replace Nathaniel Hackett with Payton, they’re going to have to provide the Saints with compensation for his services.

It looks like the asking price starts at a first-round pick, but will likely require more, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

MM is going nowhere…..I’ve said this for sometime that it was my guess. He’s 24-10 the last 2 years. Back to back playoffs- jerry hired him. He doesn’t cost draft picks.

He’s not being fired guys.

Yea, I’d wager at least 2 weeks on this forum Fat Mikey is secure with consecutive playoff appearances. Lol

It’s amazing how the vibe of this forum flip flops from week to week pending a result of a game .

I have a physical reaction to anything Jerry does or says. I truly dislike the guy.
I despise what he’s done to Cowboys Football but I’m beginning to admire how he’s basically telling fans to go screw yourself , this is how I’m doing it.

And many of these fans continue lining his pockets. It’s totally bizarre. But yet they expect change . Lol

And I’m fine with paying that price. This team has wasted 1st round picks for far less impact than I feel a great offensive and defensive coach pairing would bring.

I also feel that Payton would greatly prefer the Dallas job over any others.
