11 of Daks 15 INTS have been against zone coverage. Tampa Bay runs zone 63% of the time

He’s done well versus zone before as recently as a few games ago. Just gotta do it Monday.

that’s what you call an anomaly in Dak’s career. And most of them were really a product of Moore’s play-calling as they were short quick hitters in the middle. Even here you got 5 of those passed behind the LOS.

That being said, the throw on 3rd and 30 was a gift, because their CB let Hilton or whatever his name is run right by him, otherwise the game was over.

The difference between Dak this year and other years us guy is just throwing without looking. This is probably part of that “we want him to be aggressive” take by McCarthy. In previous years against zone, he’d play it extremely safe and just take the check downs.

Don’t you people have any good news this week?
The only good news is Tampa is 8-9 and is coming off a loss to Atlanta. Other than that there’s nothing but discouraging news.

Cheese and crackers, guys. This is bumming me out.

Everything you said I believe to be spot on. On 3rd and 30, and even with safety help over the top, there is no reason to let the WR get past you.

That said, Dak has had good days against the zone. Dak's worse days have usually come against m2m with a guy or two in zone. The defense disguises this well and Dak just doesn't pick up on it. Denver last year is one example.
