Slow down SteveTheCowboy......that' never been said by me or my posts. Slow down. When it comes to Romo and Dak.....comparison and penchants for mistakes, and what happened after the mistakes, results from mistakes...suceese or failure from habits causing the mistakes.....support or abandon the ship as a result of the mistakes....is all I have been discussing. Dare me post anything about JWitt.
Okay..fair enough. "never been said". I can neither confirm nor deny that.

Here? .....here we are full on Romo blame...as you said....nary a word about other players contributing to our failure...only Romo.

I got it. Fine.

In the final analysis, neither Romo or Dak are good enough. There's a reason most franchise QB's come from the 1st round. Flaws have to be overcome and Romo
couldn't and Dak seem to suffer the same.

You could never work in the construction field you may cry like a libtard on what goes on lol
Aren't you forgetting the nice cozy Sleep Number Bed.

Of course hold him accountable- He should Hold himself accountable as well.

My only points here is:
He doesn’t have enough weapons to beat a SF in SF .
We are stuck with him - may as well get him a burner or 3.
Thanks for your service.
Did you even watch the game? Receivers were OPEN. He threw into coverage instead. The Line protected him. The defense played serious ball. What weapons will help a QB who won't read the field before laser focusing on two guys? That game was winnable with the weapons that were there and with the way they played. The game plan, while weird at times was enough to win. Dak is the reason we lost and it had nothing to do with not having the weapons. Again, receivers were wide open. His lack of vision/reading and lack of accuracy is the problem.

There's lots of videos out there showing Dak ignoring wide open guys.

Blaming the lack of weapons for off target throws and inconsistent play... RICH
JJ needed to draft Stretch from the Fantastic 4 to catch some of those balls. We need to draft receivers with longer arms. Spiderman may also be another good pick.

Am I pissed off he threw two grenades in big spots ? Hell yeah .

Do I think he let us down ? Hell yeah ( stone cold voice )

Is he as bad as people are making him out to be ? Dumb - no

Would 16+ teams take Dak ? Yep

Mocking this guy over his girlfriend?
His facial reactions?
Where were these people when he lit up TB?
Where were these people when he snapped his ankle - horrifically and then bounced back like a champ throwing for nearly 5k yards .
And before he blew his wheel out - he was on pace for 6k yards !!!

That’s when he had weapons of course .

Go get him a Devante Adams - a top
Center - a running back that isn’t a plodding embarrassment.

A scout that doesn’t waste picks on Tolbert and Joseph .

A GM an actual GM.

Truth be told we should have won a ring by now with Dak.

It should have followed Tony Romo’s ring .

Stop piling on this guy ffs …

He’s here for awhile
Dak has been given the benefit of the doubt by a lot of Cowboys fans for a long time, including me. I am not pissed off or upset with Dak over his pathetic performance against the 49ers. I am “down” on Dak because he routinely wilts against the better teams.

Romo took a ton of heat for untimely interceptions (and rightly so) but Romo was forced to try to make a play because he had little to no defense and that affected the strategy. Dak had one of the best defenses in recent memory and still forced the ball into triple coverage at times.

What is even more amazing is Dak seemed to insist on making the same mistakes over and over, in some cases on back to back plays. Int in the Commanders game comes to mind.

I am not a cut Dak at all costs kind of guy unless you have some plan to replace him, but he is easing an inordinate amount of cap. In light of that fact he can enjoy his money all he wants and I am all for that, but he deserves to get his *** roasted by the fans for failing to deliver after holding the team hostage. That comes with the territory he is in.

Yeah it is really Jerry’s fault we have low skill 40 Mill year QB as our starter. Not Daks fault. He is doing all he can to be the best he can be.
It’s Jerry’s fault that Dak sucks? Hmmm.

Where is the media outrage for the Bills who has top 5 qb and better team and got spanked.
The amazing Josh Allen - last Sunday:
25 / 42 for 264 yds, no TDs, 1 INT
8 rushes for 26 yds = 3.3 avg, longest run 6 yds, 1 TD
QBR 58.3, Passer Rating 68.0

Bills went scoreless in 1st and 4th quarters..TD in 2nd, FG in 3rd.
10 points for the game was 2 less than the Cowboys.
Behind by 10 going into the half; lost by 17.

But of course, my man.

Not sure we disagree. I do find myself objecting when Romo gets the heat...even when we're supposed to focus on him. :)

What you just described well is due $49 million next year.

That's on Jerry for two reasons.

1. Jerry procrastinated on getting Dak signed. It should have happened two years prior. Jerry, knowing that Dak was his starter for the next several seasons, should have been proactive in signing Dak after his 3rd season. Had he done so, the contract would have been greatly reduced.

2. Jerry did not have an alternative choice for his starting quarterback. He had no other potential QB on the team that could have been the Cowboys future starting QB. The Cowboys have never been active in drafting quarterbacks in order to create a competitive environment.

if the Cowboys were to draft as QB in one of the top three rounds every three years then they would always have an up and coming QB capable of starting. Not only would this make the position competitive but it would offer the Cowboys a powerful negotiation tool as well as valuable trade value.

The OP is what you get when you realize that your team has really no answers to actually improve anything.

The debate is over. Every single, and I mean EVERY SINGLE, major media outlet is pointing out that Dak is the weak link on the team that’s sucking up 20% of the salary cap

the fans have seen it for years and now the media who apologized for him previously has now given up on this loser…..the debate is closed.

the Cowboys will have to win ,not because of Dak , but IN SPITE OF DAK.

Coddling has gotten us to this point. Like the results?
Yall think Jerry and Co. has coddled Dak is beyond hilarious. Romo was coddled. Remember "Romo-friendly"? Romo even named his son after the Jones family. Where's "Dak-friendly"?

Sorry, but I have ZERO empathy or sympathy for anyone with his kind of money. NONE.
Some of the criticism is valid. A lot of it, most of it is just mean. Just because someone makes a ton of money, doesn't mean it's ok to be mean.

QB of the Cowboys that was the biggest reason why they lost in a big game in front of prime time viewers…….comes with the territory.

So somehow JA having a bad game in a snowstorm makes Daks choke in good weather ok. There isn’t a GM who would take Dak over JA who has made it to a championship game already, there’s no justifying Dak terrible play.
