Or Irvin, or Emmit, or Woody or Moose or Troy or Haley for that matter. I think those guys spend time with him. I wonder if they tell him the truth.
Some might. I don’t think it would be Babe. I’ve never seen Babe not toe the company line with players. Maybe “big move” is as far as he goes. Watch Irvin on TV. He basically is a cheerleader. I just don’t see them ever telling the truth with players.

Everything that Babe said is reasonable. I would go a little further and say I think the throw to Gallup on the deep post was effected by the Rush. Bosa pushed Tyron into Dak as he was throwing the ball.

But I am not judging Dak on a throw or two. The INTs have been a season long problem and it seems like they all hurt, like inside the 20 of either team. To me it is Dak's judgement as much as anything. He says he wants to be aggressive but does he not have the ability to tone that down when aggression is the wrong move? Does he enter the game saying "I will bee aggressive on every play"? I just wish sometimes he would take a quick look and if he doesn't get what he wants throw it away or dump it off. Watching Purdy and the kid from Washington do it makes me wonder why Dak can't. Dak holds the ball too long, then he' dump it off but by then the RB with 20 yards in front of him has a LB bearing down on him for a 2 yards loss or a 1 yard gain. Sometimes he just have to dump it off early and let Zeke or Pollard take the easy 10 yards and hopefully break a tackle and get more.

I just don't see game management skills from Dak. No matter how you feel about him, he cannot throw 2 or more INTs per game and give away points like that, especially in the playoffs.

I think it is a little of both. I think the weapons are not what people think they are. And I also think Kellen gets too cute at times. The 2nd and 2 interception before the end of the 1st half should have been a run. It should have been a run on every day that ends in 'Y' and twice on Sunday.

And I also think when you are trying to get to the next level...you cannot judge your offense against terrible teams or regular season production. We lost to the 49ers defense last year. Can we honestly say our offseason moves would allow us to beat them if we met them again? I truly think this front office was not convinced when we lost to them last year. And that is just downright shameful. The 49ers are better than us. They were last year. Then they added McCaffarey. Last year the Eagles were not better than us...so they add AJ Washington...and add 2 big run stuffers in season to ensure Dallas would not be able to run the football on them. Now...now...they are better than us. Why did we sit back and let the Eagles pass us? Because we "like our guys"...and we think "our guys" are a lot better than they are.
Yet for how much better they are, that was a winnable game. I'm not defending the offseason moves because I agree they weren’t great. But the franchise QB cost them points and gave them to the opponent. Doesn't that factor into the evaluation of the coordinator? Cooper Rush going 4-1 and beating some better teams (CIN/NYG) is part of the evaluation, too.

Saying their personnel moves didn't move the needle/made them worse seemingly makes the argument that the game being winnable is a testament to the coaching.

Bring Pollard back. Bring in a quality vet as there is always options in FA. Draft another in the middle rounds.

That should be more than enough.

Instead, I suspect Jerry might go silly again and either bring back Elliott or use a first round pick on a TB
Well he's got a terrible injury. I just advised caution when someone was critical of re-signing Gallup.

Great post, @BrAinPaiNt !!!

I was about to post this. Excellent interview with Babe Laufenberg. He made some excellent observations on the 2022 season, the playoffs, coaching and what's needed moving forward to improve for the 2023 season. I wish everyone would listen to this and take notice of the points he makes. Hopefully, it makes everyone see things differently and more clear. If anything, Babe Laufenberg understands and sees things more clear due to his ex-QB playing experience.

I have think Aikman and Haley would. The others I'm not too sure about.
