The majority are people tired of dealing with the clown show living off of 3 SBs they were lucky to have with Jimmy. I’m not a Jerry hater because of Landry. Even as a fan since the 70s I was ready for change because he was stubborn. But the 70s-90s built an expectation of excellence despite mid to late 89s issues. These last 27 yrs are expectations of “next year” with Jerry and Stephen saying dumb stuff that goes against all basic intelligence. They think the fanbase is dumb. Sorry but even outside this board I know no family member, friend, neighbor etc that is happy with the Jones family. They dropped the expectation of excellence and now expect us just to rinse and repeat until they can say “told you so, our way.”

Still confused! I have no issues with you Cowpolk. Just trying to ask who you put in these groups? Btw to clarify..if needed. I think Jerry screwed himself. I loved he took over and came in blazing. He hired a cocky coach. He approved trades. He put all chips in! He got credit and we were happy. Even after the split we won another and all good. Heck even with Chan and Campo etc I still saw Jerry swinging for the fences with trades etc. It wasn’t until post Parcells where I thought he kind of lost himself and decided his dying wish was to do it his way until he was right or dead. Anyways. I think there is a more rational majority vs the extremes.

Out of every single thing Jerry has ever said, this has to be the worst ever!!! It’s down right stupid and embarrassing. Honestly it’s depressing. It’s proof that they have no idea how to win and could give a flying flip over how his fans feel. I almost feel sorry for him.

When you listen to him on the radio he sounds like he has it together. I mean cognitively speaking. But there is something completely wrong with his mind if after three decades of being one of the worst franchises in the NFL he thinks they are building a long term dynasty.

We are basically the Sacramento Kings of the NFL. Right on par with the Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, or NY Jets. Good God this infuriates me!!!!! I’ve been a pretty good proponent of Jones the last couple of years. I guess I let the good drafting and hope for change overshadow my negative thoughts lately. But the way I’m beginning to feel again about this team is sad and I really don’t feel that I’m alone!!! This sucks…

I'm guilty of letting the control freaks steer me off course so let me get back on track -

What DW says in that video confirms what many of us have known for decades. Jerry is a fool that is so foolish he screwed up and derailed the greatest dynasty ever in the middle of its run for ego's sake. He's been refusing to own that mistake ever since and the results are 28 years and counting.

Edit - I also agree with one of the youtube commentators that Jerry derailing the dynasty is the greatest blunder in pro sports history.

The Jimmie Johnson era has been written about and talked about endlessly. Jimmie delivered us 2 SBs and built the team that won 3 SBs in 4 years. I for one am grateful for his time here, unfortunately, egos get in the way of accomplishing more greatness...The franchise was on the serious decline before Jones bought it, but he revived the team for a decade and won some championships ... and now the team is nothing more than a chess game for this billionaire...except he's terrible at chess...but he doesn't care because the stadium is packed every week.., selling $20 beer, $15 hot dogs and overpriced merchandise. Jerry is a master marketer along the lines of Steve Jobs...they convince you that you can't live without their product.
