How much would you pay him? He’d make our defense the best in the league. I wouldn’t over pay though, we still need to resign parsons. He’s thst good that I’d sign him even if it meant losing Diggs.

He’s going to want top dollar as is 11, 7, and 88. Plus we need to tag Tony and bring back Wilson. Ugh
There's ways to manipulate the cap especially with the cap going up. They have the salary to do it. Especially when I'm sure they restructure Dak. But I don't think they want to spend 100 million on a DT. In their mind they can spend 30 million on two subpar DT's and go with it.

You people think we can sign him?

Lol

The 2nd tier options of Dalvin Tomlin and Javon Hargrave are great “fall back” options. Even the 3rd tier options of A’Shon Robinson and Andrew Billings would represent significant upgrades to our 1 tech situation.

I think the odds of us signing Payne are about 1.5% at best, but hopefully the Jones’ are finally smart enough to sign 1 of the other DT options to help this D.

It will take 17-20M a year ~4 year contract. If I had to guess he gets tagged. He doesn’t prevent us from signing CD, Diggs or Micah. More likely to keep us from signing OBJ or trading for Dhop, in the future might prevent signing someone of the Terrance Steele, Pollard or LVE category (I assume we retain these guys in the short term). Worth it if you get the chance IMO.
