I think in the context of leading 6 scoring drives it’s not as damning. Any QB who has 4 TDs and 1 turnover is typically depicted as having a phenomenal game.

You could correlate it to the pick 6 Dak threw early against Philly in game 2. Few use that to define his game because of everything else that occurred
Only difference with that thought is Dak won the game, Jalen lost the game with said turnover being a factor.

Dak couldve played the same game Hurts played last night and everyone wouldve said he was trash and it was his fault the team lost and not blame a defense that couldnt cover 2 pregnant chicks and 4 elderly men
Leave Rihanna out of this, as much as Michael Strahan tried, half time tackles don't count

Huh? How? He had a fumble for a touchdown…..I actually like Hurts. Hate he’s an Eagle….no hate towards him he played a fine game and probably should’ve been enough to win but Mahomes was essentially flawless. I can’t recall him making a bad play.
im not sure how else to explain it other than far more yards passing and rushing and more tds and a 2 pt conversion. bigger splash plays, threading needles all night, converting 4th downs like it’s not even debatable lol.

And he also had a fumble that resulted in a touchdown. I guess it just depends on how you view the game. It seemed like Hurts had a great first half but the second and especially the 4th…..didn’t seem nearly as dominant. Probably hurts him that his team is stacked and Mahomes is throwing to guys not as known aside from Kelce.

You know you have a QB issue when people point out other QBs mistakes and say, “but if Dak did that…”

he wasn’t as dominant in the second half and his turnover cost them the game and he clearly ouytpkeyed mahomes mahomes is better, i hate the eagles but hurts outplayed him by every metric. i don’t even remember any impressive mahomes throws, only real highlight was the long scramble

I would say this, a few of Hurts passes that completed deep were simply lucky as the DB misplayed at least two of them. The rookie jumped way too early and Brown beat him to one, it could have been picked off. But his running threat is no joke. I do wonder if the NFL will make some sort of rule against their QB sneak play, since its unstoppable and completely unfair for the defense which has to be in a 3 point stance
You want to ban the QB sneak play because Dak has no shot at pulling it off like Hurts. Hurts was driving the pile

WHAT…eagles allowed the big punt return….maybe…KC created that big punt return with better blocking than the eagles tackling.

fans make more excuses for a team losing than giving credit for a team actually winning.
Our own fans do it all the time saying the other team messed up as opposed to Dallas earning of the win.

Hurts was being chased, he was more concerned on getting hit than securing the ball, or that can be one take on it.
Or he felt pressure before there was and did not secure the ball, but KC did give that pressure to possibly cause that fear.
All true. I'm just bringing up stuff you usually don't count on happening. Although great plays, no team expects, or counts on a great punt return, or pick 6. That is not to say the team that benefitted didn't make a great play. Like knocking out Purdy in the NFCCG.

I was referring to the false starts nad delay of game penalties from the Eagles when I said they stopped themselves. We used to do that a lot too.

People are singing his praises....if Dak has that fumble.....nuclear warheads would have been launched.....!!!
Bad fumble. But Hurts was lights out otherwise.

Eagles' d line had zero sacks. And they fell for the same gimmick twice.

In my opinion, that’s what lost the game. Kansas City did not necessarily win this game. Except by the scoreboard. Eagles actually lost it. It was in the grasp
Both teams made mistakes. KC missed a field goal and had the critical offsides that gave the Eagles a TD instead of a field goal. I guess that equates to a 7 point swing and equal to the Hurts fumble. I wouldn't take anything away from KC they earned that win.
