I anticipate him being in the mix at 26. What would your reaction be
Probably but depends could also be an easy out lol. I want definitive opinionsI expect a skill player with the first pick. I also expect they will need a RB. I would prefer not to go RB in that spot but if he is clearly the top rated rated player on the boat 26 then OK. He might bring the McCaffrey element to the offense. Vote should add depends option.
Id take him over Robinson. Thats not a popular opinion here, but there are a few of usI'd like to see what his measurables are at the combine and see if Robinson is available before saying happy, but the kid seems to have some juice.
It would tell us Pollard's day are numbered. Still worry about Gibbs ability to run inside the tackles, but he is worthy of that 26th pick. Explosive, big play waiting to happen in the mold of Kamara/Chris Johnson.I anticipate him being in the mix at 26. What would your reaction be
I could see them double dipping and taking a faller in the 4th. Deep draft. I could see Bigsby being that guy. If we draft a guy high, I definitely think Pollard walks after 2023. I agree, if they tag him, probably will be off the roster the following year. Such a deep class, I wouldn't be opposed of double dipping.I could see them double dipping and taking a faller in the 4th. Deep draft. I could see Bigsby being that guy. I don't recall who we brought in for visits, but they spammed day 2 HB's during combine interviews. I have a theory they would have taken one in the 4th. Spiller was close but went a few pics ahead of us so that was never proven/proven.I agree, if they tag him, probably will be off the roster the following year. I think Charbonnett would be the 2nd round target. 50/50 he would be there imoI would prefer the RB in the 2nd round and lower. Gibbs in 2nd round would be awesome. At 26, I am ok with, but not ecstatic about .
I am not sure how many RB are taken before Dallas 2nd round pick, but that is where I think they should be targeting.
With Gibbs, Id more inclined to take a guy like him in the 1st than more traditional HB's just because he will be such a huge part of a teams passing gameI would prefer the RB in the 2nd round and lower. Gibbs in 2nd round would be awesome. At 26, I am ok with, but not ecstatic about .

I could see the Cowboys taking an electric back like Gibbs to replace Pollard and then signing a cheap vet with some tread remaining on their tires, like Alexander Mattison, for two years 5 mil or something like that.It would tell us Pollard's day are numbered. They could draft a 2nd back in the 5th round like Johnson from Texas or the Minnesota back.I could see the Cowboys taking an electric back like Gibbs to replace Pollard and then signing a cheap vet with some tread remaining on their tires, like Alexander Mattison, for two years 5 mil or something like that.
That would give us a younger, healthier, and cheaper backfield with still some vet experience.
