Look at the 2 SB teams, arguably the two best offensive lines in the entire league. The Chiefs did not give up a single sack against a defense that had 85 in the regular season. Biggest reason why they beat the Eagles, was cause they were able to run the football effectively. They did this with a former 7th rd running back, where they aren't picking up the 5th yr option on 1 they drafted in the 1st rd. Eagles run game was the best in the business, not only was it hard enough facing a read option QB, but they were able to keep him clean all season long.

If the Cowboys want to return back to an elite running team, it's about shoring up their OL first, replacing Zeke will a legitimate option to complement Pollard. I wouldn't hurt to use Dak's legs as well.

With the news yesterday, Tyron coming back, Steele ahead of schedule, I would target either Ethan Picoc from the Browns who was rated the 5th best center and played under Scott/Solari in Seattle or John Michael Schmitz in the draft. I fully understand Biaz is improving and just came off a pro bowl season, but we need an elite Center to reach that next level.

As for running back, I think with a deep class, we can find a very good prospect somewhere on day 2. Charbonnet, Bigsby, Evans all would be excellent fits.

Hip hip hooray I’m with you

Which is why you’re about to se me the Eagles let Sanders walk…

You can't discount having an elite RB with not having an elite offensive line .
The Cowboys rushing attack would benefit more drafting Bijan Robinson than any offensive linemen in this draft.
Great RBs can create their own yardage by avoiding first contact and running through tackles.
Thar being said that doesn't mean I am downplaying a great offensive line.

Sounds like Bijan could be this draft version CeeDee..........doubt they pass on him if he gets to 26.

That and they have the best Center in the league. Chiefs probably have the 2nd best. We never have been the same since Frederick retired.
Yea, that and an elite running game isn’t even necessary in todays league. You just need to run the ball well.

There are zero examples of “elite” RBs being the reason their team won the super bowl the last 10 years.

We’ve got a great run blocking OL. We don’t need an expensive RB to create…we need a cheap RB to just do his job.

I agree. No need to draft another high back, even more if they are keeping Pollard around for another season.

I hate to tell ya, but I think you are going to be disappointed. The Pro Bowl is a major prerequisite for Stephen to give our own drafted players 2nd contracts. I think Biaz is going to be around for a while but just my take.

Probably right.

So I’m curious as to who would be playing left guard and left tackle in this scenario?

The Cowboys are not going to even remotely consider moving on from Biadasz and shouldn't. The 26 year old Remington Trophy winner is only in his 2nd real season with 2020 being a COVID year and has done nothing but get better. Their whole team philosophy has been about building young players through the draft and he's a poster child for what their trying to do.

Tyron at LT, Tyler at LG, Tyler B at C, Martin at RG…and TBD at RT until Steele is back.

Feel great about that line if Tyron is healthy. I love the idea of drafting a T with G flex this year.

Tyron Smith has played in 17 games over the past 3 years!

He hasn’t played a full season since 2015!

To count on him as your starting left tackle is crazy.
