I like the short contract. LVE seems to protect himself when he isn't playing for his next contract. Hopefully the neck can hold up for 2 more years. Played much better last year than the last few.

Older than dirt Wagner had 140 combined tackles and 6 sacks for the Rams in about 1050 snaps.

LVE had 90 tackles and 1 sack in about 750 snaps.

Older than dirt Wagner played in all 17 games last year. LVE missed 3 due to injury.

I don't mind LVE back but let's be clear............ Wagner was and likely still is a better LB. I don't care what his age is.
