Damien Harris was a pre-draft visit, I believe, his draft year. I think he would pair well w/ Pollard, but Cowboys need all the RBs to be able to catch and I don't know if he has that in his game.

RB are not hard to find, no one says you have to reach for a RB there are ample backs in this draft. I don't want to pay out vet pay for a RB who evidently there team has given up on them or unwilling to pay for. As for Pollard status? He had a high ankle sprain and a fractured fibula. neither injury should pose a problem moving forward.

Yes it does, I want guys who are playmakers that is no spin. His pay? 10 mill not overpay in the least, He is not making McCaffery money and SF had no issue signing him same with or even Aaron Jones. These guys are paid because they are playmakers, they are difference makers.

The fact is that the guy gave us a little over 1,000 yards in 16 games. NOT franchise player numbers. And 371 yards receiving. Again, NOT franchise player numbers.

He’s also been a part-time player his entire career. NOT a franchise player.

Best we can hope for is that many of these guys don't get offers until mid next week when Stephen and Jerry begin to shop for free agents. Ones that I think could help the Boys most are the following:
Damien Harris RB - power guy and great when healthy, poor pass catcher, young (26), would be a plus along with also drafting a guy 3rd day.
Dalton Schultz TE - if he doesn't see significant offers, there is a chance he signs back on a friendly deal
DJ Chark WR - great speed if we don't make a BIG Move before hand for someone like Jeudy or (hope not) OBJ.
Greg Gaines NT - had a down year but a very good run stopper that is young and a decent pass rusher
Dalton Risner OG - should be the LG starter from the start, has an angry streak and will get in the face of guys who make mistakes
Frank Clark DE/EDGE/DT - would be a great rotation piece for the D, his market value is dropping daily so if he makes it to next week might be a value

Will be sign any this week? Probably not as the rumors say that Dallas is working hard to sign Fowler, Hankins and Watkins. Also they have supposedly offered a contract to Schultz, although I really don't believe that one.

We know that we will sign a number of fringe free agents just before Easter.
