I’d rather have Robinson, but Hankins would be fine. Not much of a difference between these 2 players.

We would be nuts to pay $10M for Robinson. I really think the difference between the two is being overstated. Yes Robinson is better now but not by much. If I can get Hankins for $2M per I don’t go above $4M for Robinson.

Robinson had his contract with the rams downgraded from $8 to $6 million a couple of years ago. For him to be still available I doubt he's even getting close to $6 million offers. He played 3-4 end for the rams with Gaines the NT.

Hankins for 2 is great but robinson for about 4-6 is better. Robinson has played lesz the last few years but way more tackles. Either way they will need to draft a quality backup or sign both.

For a NT I would think solo tackles, TFL are probably key stats
Those are plays he made on his own

He certainly the better player and if the price was relatively close I’d rather have him
But it’s gonna take time for him to accept dramatically less than he was paid before
Just human nature no one wants to be paid less if they have another option

In 2020 he signed a 2yr $17 million deal and then it was renegotiated into a 3yr $18 deal.

People clamor for Robinson, but he isnt a real needle mover. None of the available DT's are, but at this point in FA none of them should be expected to be.

What you are getting moving from Hankins to Robinson is a little bit of youth. As far as being run defenders, its really a wash

20% more tackles made from 30% less snaps….that’s a fair bit.
