Love all the people mad at Lamar here. You think he should look at the contract Watson got and ask for any less? How much better is he thank Kirk Cousins? Daniel Jones?

I sincerely hope if you guys were ever in Lamar's shoes that you would have enough self-worth to push for the amount you deserve to be paid given the market.

The problem isn't the amount alone. It's 100% fully guaranteed. Cleveland might have been that foolish, but the Chiefs weren't with Mahomes and the Bills weren't with Allen. You think he deserves more guaranteed money than those two?

I think secretly that the Ravens do not want him on the team and want to move on. They just have to play it like this for PR's sake.

So let's spend at least the remainder of this week assuming we're going to trade for Jackson. Just for morale purposes.

his tweet literally says that he requested a trade on March 2nd.

IDK......I mean, I still not sure he's requesting a trade. I think he's thanking his fans coz with the type the Ravens are using, he knows there's a possibility he won't return. That to me is different a straight-up trade request. Anyway ..........notice Harbaugh's response (lol).

To me the Ravens have showed everyone what they believe about the QB position, again I'm not completley against it..Lamar has just over 23 paas attempts per game...Basically they are not going to pay that position that amount of money for that. With this offensive scheme its probably the right move in my opinion. Depending on who they go to next they would just lean more on the RB's running if they cant replace JAckson's rush yards.

They both suck in the playoffs. I dont care about his MVP win. He has literally been garbage or hurt since.
So has Dak since Lamar's MVP win.

At least Lamar can run and use his legs even if he doesn't have the best arm. Dak doesn't have the best arm and can't run at all anymore.

Jackson only played in 12 games last year and only had 100 less yards rushing than Zeke.

Most people aren't mad at Lamar. No one is saying he deserves less than Daniel Jones. That dude got way more than he has earned. Most people can see Lamar deserves a good contract, but not one that is beyond his market value. Lamar didn't sign what is rumored to be a good contract last year and went out and bet on himself. Looks as if he may have lost that bet. He didn't have a great season. Even with that he is still likely to end up with a good contract.

Allen got an average of 43 million in 2021. Daniel Jones matched that this year. The market changes. Dak's 40 looked insane a few years ago. Now that's what average QBs like Jones get.

Mahomes got an average of 50 million in 2023 on a 10 year deal that is the single largest contract in sports and even that was repeatedly criticized for taking a team friendly deal. I haven't heard of the Ravens making a similar offer to Jackson but I accept that maybe I'm misinformed.

No employee is obligated to take a team friendly deal. You shouldn't. The only person you help is your boss and the people you hurt are the other people around you. Your argument is proof of that.

Signing a FA contract in 2023, I'd expect to be paid more than Daniel Jones if I had an MVP on my resume.
