He won’t be able to make plays like that in the NFL at his size. I see a lot of fans on here getting overly excited about him. He’s way too small! We may use him out of the backfield as a receiver or as a return guy.
If there's a hole, why not?

You seen this kid run the rock? He’s a beast on the football field. In a part time role he is going to excel. Give me the dude that can actually play over the workout warrior any day. He dropped huge games on the likes of Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, I could go on. Look at his college game log. For 2.5 seasons this kid was tearing up the Big12.

For a 6th round pick this is monstrous value. His production was worthy of a 1st or 2nd round pick, but he just happens to be 5’ 5”.

The Deuce is about to get loose in Dallas.
thanks. are you a k-state alum?

The real question is who is pass blocking for Dak as a RB. Vaughn sure as hell can't and Pollard is just ok at it.

You can use this kid in so many ways. Even though he's shorter than KaVontae Turpin he looks thicker and stronger. I see reverses, third down stuff, draws, all kinds of stuff Big Mike can draw up for Deuce.

This is such a fun pick.

Anyone who hates this pick needs to type “Deuce Vaugh Highlights” into the Google search bar right now.

Tell me how you feel about it after watching.

His production was pretty much equal to Bijan Robinson in the same conference with a worse supporting cast and we got him with a 6th rounder. The potential value here is absurd.

Jerry’s kin folks with input on picks. Scout’s son being selected. It’s all just a big happy family. This is the reason this team is never gonna win another SB.
Good so get your “I’m a great quitter” *** outta here.

lol

I can see why he skipped doing anything at the combine and only ran the 40 once at his pro day (they didnt even release the time but estimated at 4.52-4.55).

Nice story and all. Hope his dad doesn't get as emotional when hes cut.

Experts on here saying Gibbs was to small. lol And Vaughn isnt anywhere close to Sproles, other than Vaughn is shorter, lighter and slower.

Hes not beating out Turpin for return duties. Hes not beating out Jones or Davis. As backup.

So where does he fit? Practice squad. He can hang around a few years there I guess.

Is this the big power back to replace Zeke. LOL.

No seriously, he is really small. Sproles was short but had some meat on his bones. Deuce looks a little short on bulk.

You can see when he runs his short legs hinder his top end speed. He accelerates quickly, stops and shifts direction well, but once he is at top speed you can see faster DBs in college running him down. He is a late 6th round pick so it is not an awful choice, but I have my doubts this kid will succeed in the NFL. He is fun to watch though.

During the 89 training camp the Cowboys brought in a returner from I believe Texas Tech who was 5’ 2” 126 pounds. He ended up in the CFL. This guy may end up in the CFL.

thats why im confused lol

Turpin is a whole wide receiver .....Deuce is a whole Running back

nothing is similar about them except stature
Right and to be honest Vaughn whole shorter then him he’s bigger and weighs almost 20 pounds more than he does.
