Halfway through the season it was very apparent to some of us that the deficiency in the WR corp was glaring. Some agreed here and some didn’t. Deficiency at DT as well.

The FO gave us off the couch WR TY Hilton and DT old man Hankins. Both too little too late

But this off-season is different. Gilmore, Cooks and Mazi is REAL improvement…..at least on paper
Once MG hit the field the WR core debate was over... he was not ready and we literally had Lamb and Schultz.

Same comments every day…whine about something positive as to a team trying to improve.
Whining about someone telling the truth. SMH

if you are unable to differentiate between lip service and truth when it comes to coach speak you must think we’ll go undefeated every year.

The last 2 years produced 25 wins.
And who said we aren’t a good team? I sure never did.

And What does that have to do with coaches blindly praising every aspect of the team? some people form their own opinions and others form their opinions based on what they read. If you want to be in the latter category you need to at least differentiate between when the comments are made. Nothing wrong with a coach propping up his player. The point is everything every coach on this team says about our players will be glowing. That’s just how it works.

A lot of miserable fans looking to turn a positive into a negative.
You better point to some proof before you start throwing accusations around. Pollyanna this is not. Reality it is. being a cheerleader doesn‘t lead to wins and if you follow this team you know the party line is always glowing when it comes to our starts. Your inability to grasp that and be offended by someone pointing it out and not even them being negative or disagreeing, but just stating it isn’t necessarily based on truth is puzzling. Never did I say it wasn’t the case. Just that if you read quotes about this team this time of the year it will all read the same and in particular about our stars. If pointing that out offends you, im not sure why.

comradery noun (link)
: a feeling of friendliness, goodwill, and familiarity among the people in a group :

chemistry noun (link)
3 b : interaction between people working together
specifically : such interaction when harmonious or effective
_____________________

Brian Schottenheimer and Dak Prescott's quoted comments are an example of observed comradery at this stage. Established personnel are becoming acquainted with new people. Mutual discussion and light work are in the initial phases of blending experience with expectations.

Training camp and preseason shall construct chemistry between player and player and connecting coach with player. Chemistry is exhibited when plays and contingencies are executed and anticipated extremely well and very often each game.

The coaches and players are on the road to getting to the degree of chemistry they will share between them in 2023. Those degrees differ from team-to-team, season-to-season. The best versions of chemistry are teams with confident and consistent coaching plus plug-and-play rosters.

The former represents coaches who outthink their peers each game and in critical situations. The latter personify both starters and backups performing seamlessly and optimally regardless if it is due to substitution, injury or both.

The best team chemistry weathers all physical and mental adversity to the bitter end. Even legendary teams of NFL's past did not journey down cakewalks from week one to championship game. That is chemistry which the 2023 version of the Dallas Cowboys must strive and work tirelessly towards. It is possible. They all (literally) must want it bad enough to obtain it.

Well whine some more. You take a positive and turn it into a negative. Then whine when someone points out the truth.
why can’t you take it as a positive and live with it. So it is the off-season. Time,to look at what can be good this up coming season.

Pollyanna, yeah we have a bunch of negative Pollyanna“s.

Of FFS, You just spout the same crap over and over. You quoted me on a comment where I said it cracks me up when people believe these comments this time of the year and you commented with your whining. I’m just pointing out how wrong you are in response. Perhaps it’s poor reading comprehension or you didn’t actually read what I wrote but interpreted it in your head without actually reading. Don’t try to project your feelings on me. I couldn’t care less what you think and didn’t start the discussion. I think my point was pretty clear

again, I never said anything negative. Nothing. Go point out where I did. You got all bent out of shape and took it as a negative. I just stated to not take the fluff pieces that are in every NFL camp this time of the year as fact. I’m sorry that hurt your feelings.
