Would it be insensitive to say he was hungry cause there are starving people in the world? Or that he needs a bigger house cause there are homeless? Should he not talk about guns because there are mass shootings?

There would be an issue if he made it a joke or referenced Kraft or Watson. He didnt.
I didn't think you'd provide any examples of something so "common".

If Jalen Hurts said this exact thing with 1.000+ people referencing Watson in response I don't believe you'd be so understanding.

Take that star off Micahs helmet and the reaction to this tone deaf tweet here is much, much different.

I doubt Parsons has to resort to Twitter to find a professional massage therapist. I wouldn't take this too seriously.
That is what makes it stupid.

Asking for that specific service on Twitter as an NFL star with what just happened regarding that specific service and an NFL star makes this a stupid tweet.

There would be 1000+ people criticizing him no matter what he said. If he actually says/does something bad, then we can talk, but until then this is a non story made only possible by both Twitter and the lack of football right now.

Man….it’s a Cowboys site nobody gives a damn about Hurts. He’s really dying on this hill. Grown *** men can do what they want. You are not their father. Go worry about your own children if you have any.

Not the massage....it's the "hey let me post every thought i have on twitter so everyone will talk about me Me ME!!!" mindset reality TV stars have....

it's a symptom of a mental makeup that I don't think is conducive to long term nfl success. Obviously just my opinion.... but we all know he's turning into someone who could have a twitter war with Katelyn Jenner or post a tweet today that says "getting an ice cream sundae and having a pedicure at the same place Nikki Manage (sp) does, and I can sing better than her too!" LOL.

Everyone in here wishes he would start acting normal...but only half will admit it, while the other half desperately tries to brush this under the rug and make excuses

I mean, I suppose, but let's face it. Twitter is how a lot of people communicate nowadays. For example, aside from this forum, I'm also active on Telegram and Twitter to stay in contact with a lot of my friends in the furry fandom when I'm not at conventions.

Plus, at least in terms of the massage, I think I can get why he'd be wanting to find out on Twitter. He's not from Dallas originally, and, given the training and what he puts his body through, he probably wants to find who can give a good massage. I mean, Google Reviews can only tell you so much, you know?

lol all of Parsons other tweets barely get 100 replies.

This is nearing 3,000 replies with basically of all of em referencing Watson.

So no, 1000+ people aren't going to criticize him no matter what he says, but when he says dumb stuff they will.

Take your own advice and stop worrying about my opinions.

However my reaction to Parsons is for this tweet is your reaction to me every time I post.

I said its it's common with the age group- expecting a young 20 something not to be a young 20 something is unrealistic.

There's no optics here- totally normal for his age to communicate this way
Then why are 3,600 people referencing Watson on his tweet?

Do you think he gets that kind of reaction if he's looking for a plumber or someone to cut his grass?

This time I agree with him. Micah is an attention who’re he really should just let his play do the talking

I say this with #11 being my favorite cowboy but I can’t stNd that side of him

Heck, I'm 30, and I use Twitter quite often lol.

It's not about using Twitter.

It's about being an NFL star using Twitter looking for a service that another NFL star IN THE SAME STATE AS YOU has been in the news the past 2 years for because of his use in social media looking for the same services.

It's dumb and he's rightly being dragged for it in all the replies.

Just because Deshaun Watson is a scumbag and a pervert doesn't mean everyone (including NFL Players) inquiring about getting a massage is a scumbag. I think that's what people here are saying. I mean, it's not a bad thing to ask around and then find on Google Reviews or vice versa to find a massage therapist that is the best in the area.

I genuinely don't think he meant anything like what Watson did by asking on Twitter. Like I said, just because Watson is a scumbag doesn't mean Parsons is for asking. Chances are, he was asking for where people recommend, and then he will probably do a Google Search on the places with recommendations. It's a good way to find what you need.

If someone you worked with was in the type of trouble Watsons is but it was a landscaper instead would you think it's smart to post on social media you're looking for those services?

What if the company you worked have multiple landscapers already on staff to top it off as I'm sure the Cowboys have multiple massage therapists on staff?

It's dumb no matter how you slice it. Micah needs to read the room.

It’s perfectly reasonable for a professional athlete to have a massage therapist. are you ok?
I guess the ones the Cowboys have on staff just don't work for him so he has to go the Watson route and look on social media.

Genius idea. Amazing optics. He's getting dragged on his replies as he should. I never thought this place would be more delusional than Twitter, but here we are.

Micah doesn't know Google exists I suppose.

I mean, I would probably clarify why I need it, but I don't see it as a problem asking for a service that I need. Especially if I put my body through what Parsons puts his body through. I really don't think it's as big of a deal as you think. I don't know if the Cowboys have a massage therapist on staff. Maybe they do, but my guess is that Parsons is probably just trying to find the best massage he can get. I actually sent him a tweet a moment ago to try to show him a Google search I did for places in the Dallas area.
