The Eagles have the most talented team top to bottom in the NFL... but the Chiefs have Mahomes!
If Jaylin doesn’t choke the Super Bowl away. Mahomes would have. But you said it’s there supporting cast

Well one threw for 18 points…the other threw for 12….
On face value that might make sense until you look at the box score and see that the Packers scored in every quarter that game while the Cowboys scored 3 points in the 1st quarter and 0 points in the 3rd. Between the first and the 4th quarter they had plenty of possessions where they did absolutely nothing with which in my opinion was worse than tossing the INT. Two of the TD's the packers scored were rushing TD's and both of them were inside the 5. One in fact was a catch by Adams who was down at the 1 yard line. Dak didn't outplay anyone in that game. He was a bus driver and the rest of the team simply didn't make enough plays - especially the defense.

I think the point I was making is that Dak had the same things Jaylen has, but everyone is making Jaylen out to be a terrible qb with an amazing team.

I’m just saying I think we are either wrong about Jaylen or wrong about Dak or maybe a bit of both.

Not sure what you were asking above about a qb that made the Super Bowl. Did you mean to type a ‘rookie’ qb? Jaylen. If just any qb, I guess there are 2 each year so I’m guessing a typo?
I don't think Jalen is a terrible QB. he is good, not elite. there is no denying he has had a strong supporting cast. and when you have a strong supporting cast, then its up to you to deliver.

also, I meant a Rookie QB , as in first year in the league, has never made the superbowl.

Evidently you didn't see how Hurts has progressed. Some of the throws he made to a covered WR and TE 20 yards down field on the run were throws Dak can't do.
yeah, now lets pick a few plays to make claims that Hurts has grown. but lets focus on bad throws for Dak to make a case he has regressed. Lets ignore his good throws. and lets ignore Hurts bad plays.

I get it. I get what you're saying. I get your agenda. I really do

You guys keep using this term “bus driver” as an insult lol. There are some games you have to drive the bus in order to win. You can’t gun sling your way through every game. Weird that term has become negative because there were games Troy had to drive the bus.

Your issue is you watched the box score. Dak went head to head with Aaron and lost on a field goal his rookie year.

Having the greatest TE and WRs and Oline still the QB has to make great throws. Dak just folds under pressure.
Even with great tools you still need a QB to get them the ball.
Dak folds against the 49ers….funny though Hurts folded against the Chiefs but he throws a pretty ball.

No, it's not used as an insult. It's a recognition of what someone's ability and threshold is. Dak Prescott is a bus driver QB. He isn't the guy you expect to throw a team into a title game without having great talent literally in every major part of the offense and defense. In fact the farther you want to go, the greater the amount of talent you need around him to get to that next level. The Cowboys lost to the 49-ers last year because the 49-ers simply had more weapons on offense than we did. They were better than us at literally every other position. Dak was better than the 49-er QB but doesn't mean much when you are comparing bus drivers because those guys need everything else around them to be perfect.

The game against the Packers was lost was lost because we didn't have the QB and talent around him to keep up with a better QB with less talent on their team and make no mistake, GB wasn't even the better team on paper - QB was the only position they were better, but yet the Cowboys lost. We had better defense, about the same when it came to WR's, better RB (Zeke in his rookie year) and pretty even at TE. Yet somehow that team with lesser talent scored every quarter while the team that was better on paper couldn't muster 3 points in the third quarter.

13 pts the 1st 3 Quarters of the game.
Man Prescott is a beast when he's facing Prevent 31st ranked pass defense in the 4th Quarter.
The problem is he always falls a day and a dollar short.
Cowboys lose.....again.

Let me guess….had we went back to Romo we would’ve won the Packers game right?

That's the problem with getting into an early hole. You spend most of your time and energy trying to get out of the hole. Basically the team is gassed by then unless you have stellar depth.

Stats wise. The post I was responding to said Hurts outplayed Mahomes but the Eagles lost that game too.
Stats wise? They both had an INT. Dak threw for what a little over 300 yards and 2 TD's. Rodgers had 340+ yards and 2 TD's. When it mattered most however, Rodgers made the play that got them the winning FG. Simple as that. Not really sure how anyone watches that game and claims that Dak Prescott somehow outplayed anyone. Until the 4th quarter the offense had scored 13 points and were it not for that errant pass from Rodgers that was picked off by Heath it wouldn't have even come down to a final FG. If you watch just that play, Adams had his guy beat. The throw was off and underthrown which caused Heath to get come in a make the INT. Had it been on target Adams either scores or sets GB up for another inside the 5 yard line rushing TD.

Dak had 3 tds vs Aaron Rodgers 2 but Aaron Rodgers had 50 more yards.
