The Last Dance really ticked off Scottie Pippen, which has led to a falling out between him and Michael Jordan.
And....Pippen's ex-wife dating one Jordan's sons just adds to the soap opera surrounding both HOFs following their historic NBA careers together.

Those six years before Jones bought the team we’re definitely the glory days.

A lot of fans forget that the boys were a dumpster fire.
The Cowboys appeared in one less playoff game 6 years before Jerry than the Arlington Jonesboys the last 6 years with Jerry. You do not want me to compare the 27 years before Jerry to the last 27 with Jerry. 27 years before Jerry were the GLORY DAYS!

The game and talent was passing Landry up. But 1983-1888 was not a Dumpster fire unless you hold it to the standards of the Dallas Cowboys America's team (which Arlington Jonesboys fans do not hold Jerry Jones):
19831983NFLNFCEast2nd#1240Lost Wild Card playoffs (Rams) 24–17
19841984NFLNFCEast4th970
19851985NFLNFCEast^1st^[10]1060Lost Divisional playoffs (at Rams) 20–0
19861986NFLNFCEast3rd790
1987[11]1987NFLNFCEast4th780
19881988NFLNFCEast5th3130

Since 1995 with Jerry Jones, the Cowboys have had 3 consecutive 5-11 seasons, 3 consecutive 8-8 seasons, another none playoff 8-8 season, three 6-10 seasons, and a 4-12 season. That never occurred in the History of the Dallas Cowboys from expansion team 1960 to 1989.

Tex Schramm and Gil Brandt had already discussed with Jimmy Johnson to be the Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys after the 1989 season. So the 90's Dallas Cowboys Dynasty was going to happen with or without Jerry Dumbo GM Jones.

The series will follow “the Dallas Cowboys and the journey of Jerry Jones, the club’s owner, president and general manager, in saving and transforming the franchise, leading a historic set of players and coaches to three NFL titles in the 1990s, and searing his imprint into the global sports business landscape forever.”

The series “will trace Jones’ remarkable rise from the son of an Arkansas community store owner to being one of the most innovative and influential leaders in sports.”
Again "Sex, lies, and video tape".

Yay. We can hear about that big check he would write to win a ring. Meanwhile all he needs to do is retire.

Jerry might end up with 2 more rings. Not likely, but he has a shot.

Yep...can't deny the embarrassment of it. Who outside of Cowboys Nation would want to see a short-lived dynasty that fell apart in the most embarrassing fashion and was surpassed in every way by the New England Patriots? SMH

If you get 15 million people watching a Netflix show it's a huge success. I bet there are way more than 15 million cowboys fans in the world. It'll be a *massive* success. Way, way, way, way better than a lame Hard Knocks series.

It'll be packed with star power/charisma. It's hard to find anyone in the NFL nowadays with as much personality as these cats:
Nate, Michael, Jimmy, Jerry, Primetime, Emmitt, Haley, Troy, Barry. Woodson and DJ have made it in media. Personality MegaPower.

You think they'll find a way to get some cheerleaders on camera? Ya think?

Drugs, sex, football, arrests, car crashes, meltdowns, Texas, titles, egos...Way more entertaining than Patriots or any other dynasty. I'm shocked it's not been a TV series already.

Reminds me of Jerry pulling everyone's leg a few years ago about his making a deal with the devil "for another Super Bowl". Jerry was joking, right?
Is the Netflix deal a harbinger of things to come? What next, the owners and the NFL approving a deal with Netflix for Wednesday Night football? Oy.

The Worm has turned on the Patriots now. The Cowboys can now pass the Patriots on the all time scoreboard.

No, thank you. I don't use Netflix and I'm tired of talking about the 90s. Let's pat ol' Jerry on the back while the man who actually built that team isn't even in the ROH.

For a guy who has had so much success in life, and is 80 years old, Jerry's ego seems to need constant stroking. We'll see if year 28 with sonny boy VP is the charm.

Agreed. Patriots are Toast at this point. Brady made them, now they will linger in obscurity.

The team isn't, you are.
There is literally a documentary about the Cowboys from 30 years ago coming out, and yet somehow I'M living in the past? Why didn't you follow Hostile to his site?
