Saquon Barkley contemplating sitting out games

If I'm Barkley I make my stand or I play. In other words, sign the tag and play, or sit out the year. He's got plenty of money. He can do either. Because lets face it, the Giants aren't doing crap without him. Make your stand, or fall in line.

There is 0% chance he sits out, and puts all that money aside. The guy has been injury prone his entire career and knows well enough that any game could be his last. To leave that amount of money on the table is just not going to happen unless he takes bad advice from somebody who shouldn't be offering it up

Not concerned, and do not care.
He never really had a lot of success against Dallas anyway, even with the poor run defense. None that I recall where he was the reason they would beat us. Which has not been a lot.

Sure he had a few long runs, but nothing back breaking overall. Maybe we should want him to play. His backups hurt us more than he did.

He has ZERO Leverage, especially with his injury record.... learn from the Le'veon Bell situation from a few years back with Pittsburgh, didn't work out to well for him either sitting out. The running back position in today's NFL is no longer considered a vital position to pay long term big money on, just like with safeties and kickers.

To add to this he's with endorsements + this season being guaranteed made almost 60 million dollars so him and his agent can't even spin the narrative of "he's some low paying 5th rounder whose playing for peanuts"

The Giants are known for playing hardball. Id be very careful if I am Saquan. He might find himself getting traded to a bad team. Not saying I agree either way, but this is true.

..... I would take the $10mill for the year. Play a banner year. Then you have ball in your court.

agree. What happens when the team hands him the bag then he gets hurt. done for the year? In a business, teams must think big picture. I don't fault either side.
