They’re no longer a trash team. Both our wins against them last season were one score wins. If Daniel Jones continues to improve, they’re going to be a challenge every time we face them.
1) Cooper Rush beat them on the road.
Especially after what happened with Leveon Bell. That backfired big time for him.
Our defense was playing lights out when we beat them on the road with Cooper Rush. Our pass rush was like nothing I’ve seen in 30 years from the Cowboys. We sacked Daniel Jones five times in that game. However, he rushed for 79 yards. Just because the Cowboys beat them both times last season, you’re already marking down wins against them this season? I wouldn’t get too cocky about the Cowboys this season. They haven’t won crap in 30 years, while the Giants have two Super Bowl wins and they got past the Cowboys to win those championships. I wouldn’t be disrespecting the Giants. The arrows are pointing up on their QB while the arrows are pointing down on ours.

Daniel Jones led the Giants to 16 and then 13 points (late garbagetime TD notwithstanding) against us.
Those games weren't some kind of weird anomaly for Jones or the Giants offense. They've consistently struggled to score for years now.
And who cares about Jones' rushing totals when it led to fewer than 20 points? He's a running QB who's the epitome of mediocre as a passer. Let him run!

Doesn't matter if he got plenty of money. These players are always wanting more. This guy didn't sign his multi million deal over a couple of million in the deal. Something likely will be worked out, but I am sure there is more pressure on him than the team right now.
He was in a make or break year entering last season. I honestly thought he wouldn’t play that well and the Giants would be forced to move on, but despite all the pressure he was under he stepped up and had a good season. He’s an excellent runner and his passing numbers are starting to improve. His INT’s went way down. If he continues to develop he’s going to be a problem.
I absolutely think he should have taken the deal. But we don't know how content he is with the money he already has. For all we know, he may not think the compensation is worth his services. Everybody has that choice.
He could make more playing LB.
