Cowherd: If the Cowboys underachieve this season. "That Super Bowl window is about to slam shut."

It is time for you to buy a new window, Jerry. The mighty Colin Cowherd has spoken.
 
I always love how these shows flip flop daily.

On Monday : “Dallas isn’t top 5 in the NFC and no where near as good as Philly!

On Tuesday : “If they don’t win a Super Bowl the window will close””

So if they aren’t good, how will they win a Super Bowl?

I hope he does but things change especially if you have a few more years of the team choking in the playoffs.

Don’t know how you can see it as half shut coming off back to back 12-5 playoff seasons with a playoff win. The Cowboys won four games with a backup QB last season. The last time I can remember them doing that was during the 91 season. They also won a playoff game that season and went on to win the Super Bowl the following season. There’s a lot to look forward to going into this season. If they take a step back then I’ll agree the window is half shut, but right now it’s wide open.

I don’t believe the players believe this or see it as fans.

Dallas signs and brings back who the want (Diggs, Dak, Tank etc.)

But doesn’t overpay for above average guys (Ced Wilson, Connor Williams, Connor McGovern etc)

Only holes I see on the team are

LG (could be nothing if Tyron is healthy and Tyler stays there)
Backup RB (Jones and Davis are capable backs)
Kicker (Massive red flag)
 
Why do you care so much if fans think they're going to win the Super Bowl or not? It's a Cowboys forum. It seems like your mission is to drill in people's heads that for sure we're not winning a Super Bowl. That's more of a priority for you than rooting for the team's success.
 
Whats funny is, Sean Payton was a regular on that show, and always had something good to say about Dak or the Cowboys lol.
