Jalen Brooks has been very impressive so far

Yes, the WR group is much better!

I'd take a chance on a young developmental player like Moreno-Cropper over Turpin. Turpin has zero chance of ever cracking the top 3, so better to take a flyer on a player that does.

4. Tolbert

6. Brooks
Brooks appears in a battle with Simi Fehoko ..

One of the podcasters present at camp, made an interesting point, as Simi may have to
be on the move and in motion to be effective, could he have initial issues getting off press jam
getting off the line..?

To me, that does not speak well for Simi's agility and footwork. or his ability to stop and re-start without losing
compete speed. I fear that he is just more of a str8 line guy that needs a big head start upfield to have a chance.

I'm hearing Dennis Houston has been showing up as well.

Turpin is also role player that our special teams depend very big on, in fact he is one of the better special teams returners in the NFL.

Meanwhile the RB position is pretty thin..

I just wonder how many players in NFL history made the Pro Bowl some year and then couldn't make the final cut while healthy the following year.

I'm sure it has happened but i assumed some non-compettiive issue was involved like salary cap, suspension, off field issues....none of those would apply to Turpin.

Give me Lamb, Cooks, Brooks, and Durden and/or Moreno-Cropper....Gallup, Tolbert, and Turpin should be set out by the curb for early morning pick-up.

Been a pleasant surprise. And he’s supposed to be a plus teams guy as well.

I would say that's the group right now. We'll see how it plays out. I expect Houston to contend again and possibly Moreno-Cropper, but they might just be PS this year. Expected to hear a little more noise from David Durden.

The group right now is Fehoko is over Brooks. Brooks might be able to beat him out but it hasn't happened on the second day of pads. STs is going to be a huge factor and they really won't judge that until preseason.

I won't be surprised when WR's the Cowboys cut get picked up by other teams. I'd like to stash them on the PS but they won't be able to keep them all.
I could see Tolbert, Fehoko, and Turpin getting picked up if they were released. But as far as Brooks, Cropper, or others they would have to stand out in the preseason games.

If Deuce Vaughn keeps improving in punt and kickoff returns, Turpin may become expendable due to roster spot availability.
Quickly, its obvious that they want to improve there.
Anyone thinking that signing Turpin ended the entire debate there, dont think so fast.
Turps role is valuable, no reason not to try and improve it if they can.
