Give me Lamb, Cooks, Brooks, and Durden and/or Moreno-Cropper....Gallup, Tolbert, and Turpin should be set out by the curb for early morning pick-up.
That is now, but let's see if your mind changes during the preseason games. I've heard about some of Tolbert's improvements in TC. I would like to see these improvements next week in our first preseason game.

Actually, all three Jalens seem to be doing well

However, there can be only one!

Well, that's not exactly true, so things can get a little confusing.

Color me unimpressed by the attention to someone that MIGHT end up WR4.

He has been very impressive so far. The receiver position is much stronger this season.
1. Lamb
2. Cooks
3. Gallup
4. Tolbert
5. Turpin
6. Brooks
got to be careful ranking these guys off training camp news and small samples we literally see this stuff all the time even last year with guys like Houston and a few others that never did anything in the regular season so tap the brakes a little it's nice that there looks to be some improvement but be careful 2 weeks into camp these are just practices..

There's not a lot of strategy or game planning going on here where you're asked to just go out there and beat the other guy who's doing everything he can to beat you and you have no idea what's coming..

On any given pass play the QB MIGHT have time to suss out three possibilities; they SHOULD be your WR 1 & 2 and the TE. Maybe WR3. But how likely is who your WR4 to be actually being of note.

NOW that is of course not taking into account injuries which in the end is why you HAVE a WR4. IT is in the end depth and that is reality. So it is of some note; but when you are making all sorts of noise about a guy who will be lucky to make the roster, sorry its boring.

It's nice to see Turpin involved. The position is definitely stronger!

That's what happens when you have intelligent people coordinating your offense. Our last coordinator didn't know how to utilize specific talents of certain players.

I just wonder how many players in NFL history made the Pro Bowl some year and then couldn't make the final cut while healthy the following year.

I'm sure it has happened but i assumed some non-compettiive issue was involved like salary cap, suspension, off field issues....none of those would apply to Turpin.
People have this obsession with cutting him lol. Once we accept that pro-bowl starters on cheap deals don’t get cut I think we’ll all be a bit more accurate with this 53.

Also, anyone can go to Twitter and type his name in and see days and days of TC highlights. Most team writers say him and Tolbert have been impressive fighting for 4. Don’t see how any of this leads to him getting cut lol.

Dude didn’t even have an off-season last year.

KaVontae Turpin: “Last year, coming from the USFL and not getting to do OTAs and the minicamp, I feel like this year I got to do those things, I feel like I’m ahead of where I need to be at coming from the offensive end. Come in, learn the plays. I just feel like I’m in a wonderful spot right now, coming in and being able to do those two things during the offseason. “This year I’m trying to do everything. All-Pro, anything I can do since I got my rest during this offseason. Coming in here with fresh legs. I just feel like right now, I’m at 100 percent of where I need to be.”

The group right now is Fehoko is over Brooks. Brooks might be able to beat him out but it hasn't happened on the second day of pads. STs is going to be a huge factor and they really won't judge that until preseason.

Being a better WR doesn't matter all that much for the #6 guy on the depth chart.

Once you accept the Pro Bowl is about popularity, not talent, because the fans vote on it and Turpin was in the middle of the pack, you realize your Pro Bowl argument holds zero weight.

Brooks appears in a battle with Simi Fehoko ..

One of the podcasters present at camp, made an interesting point, as Simi may have to
be on the move and in motion to be effective, could he have initial issues getting off press jam
getting off the line..?

To me, that does not speak well for Simi's agility and footwork. or his ability to stop and re-start without losing
compete speed. I fear that he is just more of a str8 line guy that needs a big head start upfield to have a chance.
Simi has had his chances. Not going to be as good as Cropper or Brooks, IMO.

I think he's on the bubble.

No, Turpin was a first vote starter those are the legit pro-bowl votes. He was not an alternate or replacement. And he was a players All-Pro. Please just let this cutting Turpin thing go cause it makes no sense. Especially with how he’s playing in TC.

“Turpin has been so impressive that he earned Pro Bowl honors – alongside being a part of the All-Pro First Team for the 2022-2023 NFL season.”
