Turpin is looking good so far. He has good shot of making it.
Show me, I would love to view some clips, Im being cereal here.
I hope Turp elevates his game ten fold, if so Cowboys hit gold.
I need to see some preseason play and comp vs comp, Turp vs Deuce is an early fan favorite in preseason games right there folks.

Yes, the WR group is much better!

I'd take a chance on a young developmental player like Moreno-Cropper over Turpin. Turpin has zero chance of ever cracking the top 3, so better to take a flyer on a player that does.
Unless any of the three tops get injured for a long time, this will be a great corps.

I doubt both Davis and Dowdle make the 53, unless for some inane reason my boy Lep doesn't make it
Just a hand shake, but Im betting on Davis finding a way.
Davis can be retained even if we bring in a vet, so I bet Davis sticks around and Dowdles time is up.
Good luck to all, the RB situation depth will be fluctuating and interesting to follow.

Davis is a lock.

Dowdle is a great special teamer who has been injury prone. Without injuries he’d be in the Davis role. If healthy he makes it and makes Goodwin / Joseph / Wright expendable

Pretty sure the curb is full of your opinions
Were you the one who proclaimed that our WR corp was Top 5 in the league, while I was calling it trash last August? Everyone is entitled to an opinion BTW, and I'm just of the opinion that Gallup, Turpin, and Tolbert are JAGs...and don't get me started on Fehoko....he wasn't even worth mentioning since he was left off the list...which he should be. The REAL shocker was that rambo2 was only the SECOND person to agree with your criticism of my post....his stalking of all things Mannix is slipping.

There's sure to be some tough cuts this year, although, I'm excited to see so many talented players this year and the depth that they'll provide.

Brooks appears in a battle with Simi Fehoko ..

One of the podcasters present at camp, made an interesting point, as Simi may have to
be on the move and in motion to be effective, could he have initial issues getting off press jam
getting off the line..?

To me, that does not speak well for Simi's agility and footwork. or his ability to stop and re-start without losing
compete speed. I fear that he is just more of a str8 line guy that needs a big head start upfield to have a chance.
The Noah Brown comparison may be spot on.

How does Moreno Cropped have a better chance at cracking the top 3 than Turpin? None of them will unseat Gallup let alone Cooks or Lamb.

The group right now is Fehoko is over Brooks. Brooks might be able to beat him out but it hasn't happened on the second day of pads. STs is going to be a huge factor and they really won't judge that until preseason.
I haven't ready everything from today, but I would say Brooks has been getting more praise than Fehoko.

Practice is a good way to tell how players are coming along with technique. For example Joseph is doing a lot better with his hand placement downfield to stay with receivers.

These down roster guys flash quite often but seldom do anything in the regular season.

The guys that perform in PS and perform consistently in PS are the ones taht have a shot and even then it's not all that great.

Noah had blocking going for him. Fehoko better pick some trait up. Cedric Wilson could throw the football….Noah Brown could block.
Ced was a more smoother route runner than Simi, and made plays after the catch.. plus he was a punt returner.

Simi would have to be a blocker on special teams like Noah was.
I think he's too stiff land upright to be an effective route runner.

Frankly I'm thinking he should be on the Practice Squad than the 5 roster- as he's seems more project
