3 RBs, 1 FB, 3 TEs

WR6 - Tyron Billy-Johnson. 4.36 speed flashed

Both are yes

Yay. But I wouldn’t mind picking up Dicker/Hopkins from the Chargers
They never played Luekpke at FB in training camp. Thought they would, but they didn't.

I don't care about winning preseason games, but I want to see the team prepared and play with some energy. They did that tonight. And nothing for nothing, but Raiders had won their last 6 preseason games in a row. McDaniel definitely puts more emphasis into winning these games. Also was the first game our 2's played their 2's and the 3's played the 3's.

Run defense was much better with Mazi in there than when he came out. They did give up the big TD run but bottled everything else up. When Mazi went out, the Raiders could have run up the gut all night. Not sure why they didn't. Maybe because O'Connell had been having a great preseason. Butler looked really good, Land had some early pressure but outside of him the pass rush didn't do much. DB's had a good game, Harper at LB also. Front 7 was pretty meh outside of the ones mentioned.

Offense was just a great night. The OL looked much more in sync, and that was from everyone that played. Hoffman I thought sucked, and the OL looked decent with Richards, Farniok, Bass and Ball, and then Waletzko when Ball went out. Lindstrom looked better to me than Hoffman for sure. Even when Bostic came in we still did a nice job. Got Schoonmaker the TD but outside of that it was a quiet night for TE's. Almost all of the WR's showed a little something, but I really think after Tolbert at #4 and with #9 getting the fifth spot due to return skills....there just isn't much separating the next 4-5 guys so you can count on at least a couple making it through waivers to PS. Luepke is gonna make it interesting....he does seem to stumble a lot....but he had a few nice runs and was a nice safety valve out of the backfield. I think they definitely keep Luepke over Davis....but it seemed pretty clear Dowdle was the clear #2 and I don't think he played at all, and neither did Vaughn. So it probably comes down to how many OL they keep and how many TE's. I thought Hendershot was a lock but he really hasn't done much in PS and there was been a ton of talk about how much the coaches like McKeon.

Finally, the kicker made a big FG but I still find it hard to feel too secure. Would have liked to see more FG chances for him but we didn't punt and scored so much.
All in all, a good night!

We have to only keep 3 RB and 3 TE. Too much talent in other positions who wont make the practice squad.

Well, they didn't put Bostic in until the last 5 or 6 minutes, so I think that answers your question. Waletzko played well tonight.
I think that would be a mistake. I think Bostic has looked much better overall than Waletzko has this preseason

There's no way possible juanyeh Thomas makes it to the PS. I can't see it.

Waletzko didn't do much week 1 and 2 but he has been in the games earlier and longer than Bostic. Bostic only got in really late. I think he is PS. The injury news on Ball is gonna be interesting. And there is also Edoga...not sure where he stands with injury.

You might not can but we think every year that there's no way possible and then players clear waivers. There's always the risk, so you have to calculate that.

Like I said, I can see us cutting Goodwin to make room for him, but we might have to use Goodwin's spot to initially keep someone we want to get to IR. Fowler could be used for that as well. And I think we could do it with Sieg as well if needed. Got to use players you know aren't likely to be lured away by better deals.
