He threw straight into triple coverage. The odds of completing that pass are next to nothing. A veteran QB 8 years in has to know better than to attempt that throw. Oh and he isnt elite. I dont care what your stats or lists say.

Separation is all about anticipation, you obviously think the receiver needs to be open before the QB throws the football.

If the WR doesnt run good route and get separation AFTER the qb throws, there's a higher chance of the defender blocking/INT the pass.

Our problem is the QB and receiver are not in sync with each other (what is up during the summer when they are go to a different state to workout) but remembering those throws Troy would get to Mike even before he turns around for the ball is not there.

I have to agree doesn't look like he really wants to stick his head in there and try and run for the touchdown that said I think we prove tested the kicker enough and should really try to get some touchdowns as field goals are not going to win as many games

I was at the game. The defense didn’t come to play today. They looked out of sorts all game, gave up huge chunk plays. The play where the receiver was wiiiide open, there was literally no one on that side of the field. Yep Dak threw the game ending pick, but he was definitely not why we lost today. So how did he throw some many TDs in the red zone last year? If Moore's scheme was better in the red zone than McCarthy's then that's also not on Dak. I didn't see anyone else open did you on the INT did you? Situation called for aggressive play.
